Q. Where to find the previous years’ paper?
Answer: This book “Gujarati Sahitya Paper 1 ane 2 by Hiren Dave, Akshar Prakashan”.
He has provided papers from 2001 to 2009. Then visit official website of UPSC, and you’ll get the question papers for 2010 and 2011. Thus you’ve last 11 years’ papers.

      I’ve been hearing rumors since 2007 about GPSC Class I and II recruitment.
      May be just before the assembly elections, may be after the assembly elections. Hard to predict.

    Thanks for this, I am from english medium schooling background, exploring guj litt as optional.
    Is it possible to write socio in english and gujj lit is obviously gonna be in gujarati. So is it possible to write one optional in gujarati(guj litt) and one optional(socio is my second opt) in English

      in your mains form,
      indicate written medium = English.
      so you’ll have to write GS, Essay and Socio papers in English.
      And Guj litt. paper will have to be written in Gujarati script only, in any case. (according to UPSC rule.)
      so don’t worry.

    I am a working professional and planning to give UPSC exam in 2013.
    I am born and raised in gujarati but my schooling was in english.
    I fluently speak and write gujarati.My doubt is if i dedicate 3-4 month for gujarati.can the whole syllabus be completed..??

    First of all I want to thank sincerely for this wonderful website.
    It is helping me continuously for preparing in IAS examination.

    I have done my schooling from Gujarati Medium so I have decided to choose Gujarati as my 2nd Language for Language Paper.
