SIR ..I want to ask that for a year full prepration ..one has to cover Yojana, kurukshetra,,and other magazines..but starting From which month..and upto which month. thanks

    • Reverie

All the toppers suggest to read magazines starting from atleast one year before you attempt prelims. So if you are preparing for CSAT 2013, you must read from May 2012 – May 2013 atleast.

    • if you’re appearing in 2013 then start from Jan-2012′s issues.

  • aparajita

Frontline is too exhaustive but good fodder for essays. Could you let us know what are the important sections to touch upon and if we read frontline and a newspaper (Hindu), is it required to read any other magazine like yojana, etc, considering the time constraints.

    Thanks!

    Sir,

Is it required to supplement yojana with frontline magazine? How many magazines do i need to consider for CSE & what all?

    Waiting eagerly for your reply.
    Thanks & regards

    • Yojana, Kurkshetra essential for GS.
Frontline, Economic and Political weekly etc are useful, if you’ve the time.

  • Sameera Singh

Thanks a ton sir!!! Thanks alot for your prompt reply as well & the guidance. Sir I appreciate the pain & efforts you are taking to help us aspirants & that too with not less than the speed of light.

Sir i also wanted to ask you the following:
1)how to go about notes making for GS like polity etc.Shall i cover everything in the notes so that i don’t need to pick up the books again or it should only jot down the pointers
2)As I am targetting 2013,is it ok to start making notes of magazines & newspaper of october 2012 onwards or i have to do it retrospectively? If retrospectively then from which month?

    Thanks & regrads
