  19. Dear Friends,
I am a regular reader of Mrunal and a blogger too. Once the IBPS score was out, many aspirants started asking a common question quoting their marks asking whether the marks scored by them is sufficient to get job. I would say almost all can clear interviews irrespective of what they scored. So I came out with an article, researching data from IBPS site and other authentic sources to validate my point. I am not spamming. I hope the article which I came out will answer many questions.
    1. After reading you will be sure that every one has chance to qualify irrespective of marks in the written examination.
    2. What is the ratio of vacancy to number of candidates?
    3. What is the last year final cut off and what to understand from it?
4.How many candidates declined to join after first allotment?
    5. Why there is no use in predicting and discussing cut off online?
    6. How age is going to play a role in determining your post in IBPS PO-3?
    Thank you one and all.
I believe you will not regret after reading this.

[To Mrunal]: Dear Mrunal, Sorry for sharing a link in comment, as a blogger I understand that it’s a king of spamming, but I felt that for many it will be useful once I share here. Sorry for doing so. If you think, my post is not legitimate you can remove the comment and I would take it happily. Thank You.

    1. Ganesh article was worth reading friend and i think mrunal sir will be extremely happy to see someone lending a helping hand to him

  20. hey i am novice about ibps
ihave got 92 marks in obc
    po 3 exam
what is the possibilty compared to previous year cutoff this time it is quite low why
please anyone who know the true picture comment please

  21. How much weightage for interview marks in whos po-3.pls

  22. one more shock after ibps po 3 result that i scored just 3 marks in computer attempted 18 unable know the reason how could this happen i did sure ans still this it is really unexpected i think there is someting wrong because of this i lost the chance how could this happen i had learned computer from school as a subject from 3 standard to till now computer course everything i cant just cope with it

    1. Sandhya same here. I scored only 8. Had left only 2-3 questions. There’s definitely something wrong going on. I m just shocked nd always keep on wondering abt my marks. 36 attempts in English nd scored just 17. I nvr scored so low.

      1. same case with me, i attempted 17 questions and without any wild guesses still i scored just 7 marks in 10 nov afternoon session

        1. Mine ws on 9th Nov. Really upset coz of result.

          1. I don’t want to sound like a phoney guys…But yes..shit happens…Put this result behind you and prepare for the forthcoming exams…And make sure the next time you don’t give these excuses even a slender of a chance to resurface on your horizons…May good luck grace your path :)

        2. Hi All, IBPS has fixed some dates as hard and some dates as easier compared to others. If the exam was hard on a particular day, then they multiply 1.5 for each right answer and for easier exam days it was .75, the assumption of easy and hard questions was their’s.

      2. i filled my date of birth as 28-11-1988 instead of 28-12-1988,will they disqualify me.plz reply someone.very tensed because of this.if anyone knows plz clear my doubt.

        1. Go to your sub division admin. office and get an affidavit regarding your correct age attested by the Executive Magistrate of your area.Submit it during the time of interview. They shouldn’t disqualify u.

        2. @Sweta Sinha:

Just take your birth certificate or X class provisional certificate and mention the issue before they note that “something is wrong”. They make you write an affidavit and do the correction in their database. just don’t worry and be calm.

  23. @Neeraj @IBPS HI!i have got only 61(general category) should i try for interviw or not

    1. @ aanchal –>.. Y not…?? what ever ur marks are, but remember THEY HAVE INVITED U for the interview…don get demoralize with 61 marks…there are lakhs of candidates who didn’t even managed to get this much…!! U have earned this Interview….take this a an Opportunity…Prepare rock hard for interview i suggest u join some interview workshop smwhere…in all u got nothing to lose…but u will gain a lifetime experience from this interview…!!

      Gud luck Aanchal…!!

      1. hey neeraj thanks buddy for highly motivating me

  24. hey frnds, i m working in sbi as assistant/
clerk from past 1 year, scored 81 in ibps
p.o. in general category but confused
wheather i should go for ibps p.o or work
with sbi nd get promoted after 2 years.
the benefit of working with sbi is pay
structure which is sufficiently more than
any other bank except rbi. so any
    suggestions/comments about this paradox
    are highly appriciated

    1. Stay with SBI, clear your department exam and become officer.

      1. my score is 77 gen, interview kakya karu?

    2. sbi is most sought after bank in today’s scenario.you are really lucky to be part of this bank.i would advise you to prepare well for promotion exam n interviews.you already have a job in your hand,so plz for sake of unemployed people like us,spare a seat.

    3. stay in your home place and prepare for your priority if banking is not your priority…
but if it is and you stay back,then,2 years later approx 20-21000 people who were selected 1 year back would be looking for 8-10% Technical Officer vacancies….tough choice, your call..

  25. hi, mrunal
kindly give ur suggestion about my result. i have scored only 63 gen category.
i wanted to know whether i would b calld for intrvw. if yes then is there any chance of getting selected as PO. pls help as i am unable to decide my further activities.
    thanks in advance………….. :) alok

  26. i got just 57,cut off is 50 but i’ll be giving my 100% in interview and so do you all, don’t take your low score for granted, your confidence and preparation for interview is in your hands,do attend interview, give your best shot and you shall succeed.goodluck!

  27. How many students qualified in ibps po/mt 2013 written.how much will be the total cut off including written &interview test for final selection.please replay me answer

  28. i filled my date of birth as 28-11-1988 instead of 28-12-1988,will they disqualify me.plz reply someone.very tensed because of this.if anyone knows plz clear my doubt.

    1. ibps tries to be very strict because they will see a hell lot of discrepancies with the candidates certificates however there is nothing you have to worry about because 1 month doesn’t matter. Tell them its an honest mistake. This happened to me once, so dont worry. All the best for your interview.
