Introduction

Q. Tell us something about yourself and your family. When and why did you enter in the competitive exam field?

Ans : I belong to a lower middle class family , I am elder son ,my brother vikas study in Indian school of mines Dhanbad . After my graduation I didn’t get any job. Thus my jholachap college wasted my 4 years for nothing then after my sister’s marriage when I went to see her at her home. I found an IFS sitting there then I come to know from him about UPSC.

Electronic Vs Paper material

Q. In recent times, there is spur in electronic material- blogs, sites, pdfs, RSS-feeds. Many aspirants feel bogged down by this information overload. So, how much do you rely on electronic material and how much on the paper material (Books, newspapers)?

Computer is essential thing for upsc exam. But I think a person should know what it want from internet .otherwise he will end up by wasting his time, and I never make notes instead I read book multiple time but now I have started making notes .

Tempo and style

Q. People know what books and syllabus topics are to be prepared. But most of them lack consistency in their preparation. So, how did you keep study momentum going on? How do you fight against the mood swings and distractions?

There was a time in my life when a person who is a constable in  the police told me that “tu muze constable to ban ke dikha, chup chap nokri pakad le kahi , dhobi ka kutta ghar ka na hat ka” . These words make me even  more stronger, then I started reading more consistently . When I feel bore I go to hospitals and slums, and tell to myself that you have to read for these people .they need officer who can give them their rights.
