I am 4th year B.A.LL.B.(Hon.) student. I have studied Political Science and obviously studying law. I have interest in political science but can take Law as an optional too. Please guide which subject is more scoring and is more suited for GS studies.
I just completed law this year…and i with my experience tell u that Political science as optional will be more scoring because law as optional will expect u remember many provisions and case laws…moreover there are very less coaching institutes for Law optional….
Furthermore, Political science as optional is very easy once u start developing interest…it is easy to remember…and some of it also covers in Paper2 and paper 4 also like some scholars aee there as well
Political science…although has many students…bit it is more scoring that law…because law expects u know everything new development with case law
Please help me how to make a good and suitable strategy for political science for my mains.. Which books to follow and how to make notes? Any study material?

Is POLITICAL SCIENCE better than Hindi Literature as a Hindi medium optional subject in upsc civil service exam? I am comfortable in both. Pls provide your guidance and suggestion over this issue. I have analyzed a lot. In last years hindi literature has given toppers on the other hand pol sci is helpful in GS. What should i choose for? I am from Hindi medium.. please help
how prepared in this exam
Sir my medium is hindi and my optional paper is political science and right now i am confuse.because some people says pol sci is not good for hindi medium students.its good only for english medium.then main change karne ka sonch rha hu..and hidi litreture rakhne ka sonch rha hu ….plz suggestion me sir…
How can I download the question papers????
@Ruchi Shree…. Both subject are good. It’s depends on you, if u comfortable in both then you decide, in which sub. You feel better and also your interest. For my example, I feel better in pol. Science and my interest also. Pol. Science is helped in not only in pre. & mains (gs1:this year asked qstn south China Sea + gs 2 & 3 probably whole and also in gs4) but also in interview (lots of qstn asked related to ir) so I suggest pol. Science.
