- Education: Candidate must have completed their education on or before 1st August 2015.
- Age: to be counted on 1st August of the given year. (refer to table given on page1, for minimum age limit for each post and rule 5(A) on page 5.

FAQ (Frequently asked Questions)
OBC certificate
Certificates obtained in any other format will not be accepted. OBC certificate in the prescribed format issued between 02.06.2012 and upto 29.11.2015, only will be accepted.

Post preference
Revised options for posts will not be taken at the time of document verification. The options exercised in the application form are final.(page – 19 of official notification) The candidate is required to indicate his Posts-wise preference very carefully. He/She would not be considered for any post, if he/she has not indicated his preference for such posts. Option once exercised in the application is final and therefore, candidates are advised to be careful in exercise of option for posts.

Tie in scores?
Ties cases will be resolved by applying one after another, as applicable till the Tie is resolved.
- Total marks in the written examination and Interview, wherever, applicable.
- Total marks of Tier-II Examination.
- Total marks in Tier-I Examination.
- (iv)Date of Birth, with older candidate placed higher.
- Alphabetical order in which the first names of the candidates appear.

tier are exactly division of no of exam , for example ssc cgl have 3 tiers :
part 1 sub divided into four parts
part 2 math and english
part 3 interview

Hello! My age is 27yrs 15days. As per the age limit of the maximum posts i am not eligible for most of them. But in three of the posts where age limit is 30 yrs i am eligible. but when i am submitting the form it is saying that,- As per age criteria You are not eligible. i think there is problem on their server. if you fill dummy application and your age is below 25 year on cut off age sever accepts the part 1. if exceeds 25 year then message of error will come.

My name is shashank shahi & my date of birth is 10 june 1989 as per certificate. I am filling up my form for SSC combined level exam form for the age limit of 18 to 27 years & for the age limit of 20 to 27 year. As per my certificate i am 26 yrs old. But still the website showing me you are not eligible as per age restriction. I dont understand why this is happing , i am 26 years i still have one year to cross 27 years that means i am eligible or there is anything i am missing here ? Please help me. Be ready for the mass protest infront of supreme court ! A call to all the unemployed students in india. It’s our india our country,our rights WE want OUR RIGHTS..this is a fight against selfish people working in DOPT ..we want a standardization rules in ssc commission mentioned below:
1.all group C posts age limit starting from peon to UDC must be 21-28 years for general.
2.all group B posts age limit starting from SI TO DSP must be 21-30 years for general.
3.all group A posts age limit starting from ASP to DGP must be 21-35 years for general.
due to vast unemployment in india,many students due to lack of proper job,they are helplessly converting themselves to terrorist and working as a sleeper cells in india..pls pls wake up from this ignorance, awake arise stop not till the rules are implemented,fight for a cause,these selfish people are looting our blood ! for how long they will loot ? it’s enough ..we want a legitimate justice !
some other issues regarding pattern of the exams in government commissions like upsc/ssc/banks/psu/lic/stategovt…..etc..
due to vast competition in govt.sectors,some rules must and should be followed by DOPT of various sectors are listed below:
1.paper pattern must and should keep unchange for a period of 10 years/decade/generation..
2.negative marking must and should be increase/decrease per year,according to the less/more of the vacancies mentioned by RTI.
3.result must and should be displaced immediately, after the very next day officially.
4.must and should keep cc cameras,online,mobile jammers in various centers and if possible collect the money from students..
5.ssc/upsc yearly calender must and should keep unchange,even at the time of elections.
6. the final result of the entire process,must and should complete within an year itself.
these are our norms,if a pattern of the exam is changing for every 3 to 4 years,then there is no use in age relaxation/limit..

why not a single online exam for all ssc papers,po,clerk,ao etc when we r preparing same things and wasting our time money and energy for years..also if u say that bank exams r tuff ..u should understand that its competetion not a passing exam,hence same for everyone….
