Some more reasons when I donot reply :

Naive questions like

if I follow your booklist will i get full marks?
XYZ topper’s blog gives ABC strategy while you’re giving DEF strategy, which one should I follow?
XYZ coaching sir (or his website) says read ABC book, while you’re saying ignore ABC book, which advice should I follow?

…well UPSC preparation is like kungfu, everyone has different style, none can canguarantee100% sure success. Use your own head, device your own strategy based on the time and resources available to you, after taking inputs from multiple sources. This isn’t a primary school exam.

Loser Questions: “I don’t have time to make notes. Can I skip XYZ book or topic etc? I’ve Public Administration but can I skip 2nd ARC? Do I need to read India yearbook…etc“…I’ve already given the advice and strategy to deal with these problems, beyond that I don’t have any secret magic formula. Success in competitive exams, requires hardwork, else change the career goal.

You’re asking about possible removal of optional subjects/ change in pattern. I’ve already posted the R.T.I replies of UPSC regarding those. but UPSC isn’t divulging any information through R.T.I. (matters now pending before CIC). I’m no expert in speculation or rumor bombing.
I donot involve myself in cut-off or result date predictions. Hard work is in your hand, success is in God’s hand. One exam is over then you prepare for some other exam or next stage of the given exam. Don’t loose your sleep over cut-offs.
Questions related to “should I join X coaching class or Y test series or Z readymade Postal material from Delhi?” I hold none of them in high regard, my line is very clear “success is possible without coaching, as many toppers have proved in the past.”

198th May 13 ko POst office n SSC CGI ka dono exam hai koi exam ki date check karke ku nhi rakhta hai pls 1 exam cancel kara dijiye……….hamare hath se opportunity mat chiniye…

I want to ask about the military courts of India. I mean Supreme court have any jurisdiction or any power over the military court or tribunal in India?

  Its not that. Military court are court marshal, though its working is independent but Supreme court has jurisdiction. One can challenge the verdict.

Sir I am emphasizing on Ancient history ,culture and modern history of India ?

Sir I am following India’s ancient Past by R.S.Sharma ,Facets Of Indian Culture and History Modern India by Bipin Chandra .

Sir ,It’s loking that I have to complete 33+10+14=54 chapters from these books in 38 days ,That’s seems to be very hard to achieve .

What chapters are required to be read from bipin chandra,facets of indian culture and R.S.sharma from the prospective of GS History for IAS 2014 ?

I am going to appear in 2014 Prelims.Done with first readings of most of NCERTs.Question is, should i start the yearbook 2013 now or the yearbook 2014?

For greater clarity on current developmental work, schemes should be known from their genesis.(After some digging i could not find answer to my query in ur blog, sorry if u have already written about it)

First of all, many thanks for having such a site which has everything what an UPSC aspirant would look for. I need help in reading newspaper. I find it very difficult reading newspaper because of getting no time to read it completely. If possible could you please update the gist of all required updates from the paper monthly or quarterly in the way you did for “March 2 May”. I am reading that and is quite efficient and effective as well.

As being an IT Professional(due to distress financial condition couldn’t leave the job) I don’t get much time to read newspaper.That’s why I am looking for current affairs in such manner which is less time consuming.

1) Types of PG courses
2) Admission process, fees details.
3) Is it necessary to go their regional trainig/ teaching centres ( as in case of MBA or MCA practicals)
4) How to prepare for their exams. Books required to be purchased.

Sir, please do reply and try to come up with it as soon as possible because when one is preparing for UPSC , it is good to do PG in the meantime as it is always reqd in the career.
