  1. this was a bull shit exam.. paper was too easy and everyone knew everything.. results became a lottery .. may be colorful presentation must have been rewarded.. what a great way to select officers for RBI !!

    1. Yes I agree. The nature of questions made the exam a “LUCKY DRAW” type of thing. I must say that the Subjective evaluation has finally resulted in BULL SHIT Results of phase 2.

    2. Totally agreed. It was a fancy dress competition & they were least interested in the quality of the answers. To hell with the recruitment process. I will better join my old job, better in pay, recognition of talent & career growth. For this mains exam, “Go to Hell,………H……….. E……… L …………L”

        1. Hi,

For your info, Paper 4 had a very strict checking. UPSC did not get what it was looking for. Many students have just written random stuff to impress.

  2. can anyone provide me the pdf copy of the official advertisement. need it for applying NOC from my employer

  3. mrunal in ESIC RECRUITMENT it is saying tht 3 yrs govt service is DESIRABLE
does it means ?? 3 yrs experience COMPULSORY ?? i have no experience… in tht case may i APPLY for ESIC or not ?

  4. Karthik..Dont mind.. even i didnt clear Phase II, and was hopeful to the extent that may be interview might not be required to clear the exam..so u can understand the quality of paper 3 (which i wrote..because of commerce optional which i had taken in UPSC mains)..Though i am lil upset on not being selected..i would still feel that blaming the exam today ..when we are not selected doesnt reflect good on our part…and though i do not want to initiate any debate on this..but since i am sailing on the same boat thought of sharing my view….please ignore..if you feel bad at thos..

  5. Congrats to all those who got interview call. But I didnt clear for interview. ThoughI had a good hit on Paper 1 & 2,But somewhere deep inside, I knew it well that I had screwed paper III,n RBI screwed me in return. So,we r even now.No offense to the system, & none taken but rejection sucks

  6. Who has cleared it ?
I have written CSE mains this year and was pretty sure of clearing it.
Did they prefer MBA or bank/PO guys cracked this ?

  7. i hav not made it this time. well hope for the next one
any news regarding next notification of grade b

  8. I think so too Karthik. 280 candidates are thru to interview. I am curious to know how many first timers got thru.

  9. Hi Babu,

Congrats on your selection in Rbi gr B, Can you please specify what kind of answers did you write in all 3 papers as I also gave mains but didnt get through, although my papers went well and was expecting an interview call.

So if you can specify the answer writing strategy followed by you it would be great for me as well as others who have not got through.

      1. Hi Amrita

I was wondering if the documents have to be sent within 7 days of the results being declared on the website or after receiving their email. Could you please confirm? Thanks.

  13. Last year when I cleared for interview I had given my mains in a very casual manner.I came very close to making it into the final list last year. This year my mains performance was way better than last time. I was so sure of clearing the exam this time but alas I failed to clear mains. Don’t know where what went wrong.

  14. Got through Sir…I was following your site for last one year but for UPSC related analysis… It was recently when I read your economy articles and felt that had I read it earlier my RBI mains would have been even better

Salute to you Sir for what you are doing for us…..

I request you to kindly post an article specially for interview preparation for RBI Grade B just like you did for IBPS…

  15. This is my first attempt at RBI. I am glad that i cleared. Gotta start preparing for interview. All the best to those who have cleared. I ll update as soon as i get an interview letter, i would request the others too kindly do the same.
