UPSC replies: 2580 applications were rejected due to bad photo or bad signature or swapping of signature with photo or vice versa.

Q3. Please provide the question paper and the official answer keys of the APFC exam 2012.

Copy of the Question paper is enclosed. However, Answer Keys can be shared after the completion of recruitment process.
Wrong answer options for Jim Yong Kim questions
Q4. In the question #27 of Booklet “D” of APFC-2012 exam, all answer options are incorrect. Because according to the official websites of the respective organizations, the correct combination is as following
- Jim Yong Kim is the head of world Bank (A-1)
- Kamlesh Sharma is the Secretary General of Common Wealth.(B-2)
- Christine Lagarde is the MD of IMF (C-3)
- Catherine Day is the Secretary General of European Commission (D-4)
But no such answercode is provided in the given question. Therefore all the answers are incorrect. So, How will UPSC evaluate the answers of candidates, for this question?

Actually i want to file a RTI in Coal India Limited regarding their recruitment process. On the website only details of APIO, and other authorities are given. can you please tell me whether i need a separate form for that? If yes do you have any idea where to get it. And will you be kind enough to explain the whole process to me.And last question does applicant at any stage(further higher appeal case) need to make rounds of their offices?

So total applications for APFC is around 3.5 lakhs out of which only 50% might have appeared.. so 1.75 lakh candidates for 253 posts, which means 700 for one post… Is this assumption correct? please give some light on this aspect..

u can file but upsc will not disclose, citing the reason ‘exam process has not completed yet’.
what anyone will do with the marks after more than 1 year that only God know.

APFC 2012 exam results were to be declared in 2nd week of November, but I guess we all are still waiting for that.
Any update on the same ? Or can we approach them asking why they’ve not been declared or when are they thinking of declaring it ?

APFC exam result will be declared after CDS-II-2012 result. Hopefully CDS-II-2012 result will positively be declared by IInd week of Jan and then APFC by the end of Jan. Friends,generally UPSC takes four months in the process.Till the time , please prepare for interview as it will also be decisive factor in selection. And friends do not loose heart as some more exam like sbi po and lic aao are in pipeline.so guys wish you ALL THE BEST.
