UPSC has refused to provide cut off marks of CPF 2011 citing the (cliched) excuse that recruitment process is not yet complete. But 2009 and 2010’s marks have been provided.

Combined Defense Service Exam (CDS) Cutoffs 2011
There is no provision for reservation (categorywise) in CDS examination however, course-wise cut-off marks of written examination are as under

CPF marks given is the addition of both and 2012 too won’t fluctuate from the given data. CPF is the short cut to Gr A post.
what about cds 2012 -feb exam cut off
Are bhai kitane marks ka exam hota hai ? cut off kuchh kam nahi lag raha ?
these marks are total of both papers…and in 09 and 10 the 2nd paper was of 150 marks..

But why is the cut off so low ? I mean I have never seen such a low cut off even for UPSC-CSE !

CPF – Me too dont have idea and it is for 400 marks and we should rely on it as that is what UPSC provided :-P
CDS, According to my knowledge, They will call up more no. of candidates for SSB Interview, In Screening test (First day) among 200 around max of 30-50 candidates will be selected for next 4 days testing. Finally among 200 max of 7 candidates will be recommended, in fact some times no one will be recommended. Due to tough interview process and medical standards they will call more no. of candidates so less cut off i feel. I attended SSB thrice, Screened out all the three times :-P

The cutoff for cpf is for how many marks? Does it include paper 1 and 2 and interview marks?

152 according your evaluation. Nobody knows what is UPSC’s version of answers. So difficult to tell.

In CDS Clearing prelims is Easy But Screening Test by SSB is the Crucial Point ,Can anyone tell me how to get through CAPF after Clearing Prelims ? Which is the Crucial Part of CAPF Selection (Like SSB Screening test in CDS) ? Im Waiting ….
UPSC conducts interview after Medical fitness test for CPF.. If you clear medical standards which is almost equivalent to medical standards of army. If medical is qualified you will be called for interview by UPSC, Compared to SSB interview UPSC interview is easy according to me :)

PAPER 1- 117 marks
PAPER 2- 80 marks
out of 250 and 150 respectivily and scored 150 marks in INTERVIEW out of 200…and he ranked 4th in the final merit but dat tym seates were around 800,hope u ppl hv got rough idea abt cutoff’s and merit.thnks

becoz both time I cleared written
exam. These cutt offs are out of 400 marks. In 2009 merit was 256 out of 600.

@Mrunal UPSC in its reply written that ” There is no seperate qualifying standard for paper I & II in CPF ” What does that mean??
Means your total score in two papers is considered for preparing the list of successful candidates. unlike the Bank exams.
I am getting approx 140+ in paper 1 out off 250 and paper 2 was very lengthy so answers were not upto mark..so i fear even 70-75 will be max i can score..So somewhere around 215+ i am expecting..
but i read in 2011 @315 last candidate from gen got ITBP.

sir following are three questions on mixtures ,please give some guideline:
1]Hairdresser use a mix havin 5 prts lotion n 3 parts of water.after taking out some portion of the mixture,
he adds equal amount of water to the remaining portion of mix such that the amount of lotion & water becomes equal.Find the part of mix taken out?
2]A mix is composed of 8 parts of whisky n 3 parts of water. After adding 28 lit of water if the mix contains whisky one half as much as water then how many lit of whisky does it contain?
3]Sam bought 1o kg of tomatoes @ Rs 45/kg & 8kg @ Rs.50/kg.he mixed both n sold it @ total profit of Rs.32.

I’m scoring only 50 marks in paper 1, but my paper -2 went really well, and expecting atleast a 100 marks, so going by the cutoff 150 overall is good enough ?
