UPSC has refused to provide cut off marks of CPF 2011 citing the (cliched) excuse that recruitment process is not yet complete. But 2009 and 2010’s marks have been provided.

Please note: In the year 2009 & 2010 paper I was for 250 marks & paper II was for 150 marks, Personality test for 200 marks. But From 2011 they have changed to paper I for 250 marks & paper II for 200 marks, Personality test for 150 marks.

There is no provision for reservation (categorywise) in CDS examination however, course-wise cut-off marks of written examination are as under

cpf marks given above is only for paper 1 to qualify for paper 2
in cpf 2011 written marks query on official website
i scored paper 1 – 135/250
and paper 2 – 49/200
total 184/450
written was not qualified
i think min 50% mks required to qualify in paper 1
dear shailesh surve u r not qualified because your marks is very less in paper 2 but u r qualified to paper 2 for evaluation of paper 2 .

friend I am agree with u that there is individual cut off for each paper but UPSC in its reply mentioned this that the thing which counts is total marks no matter how low u score in paper 2. I also have doubt on this

CPF marks 2011 have come up…and topper …I mean rank 1 has got 352 marks/600marks ..and its really tough to score near it..as I consider UPSC to be the best talent hunt ..to serve the people of this country..
Its difficult to expect much from.paper 2..it needs practice to write in short tym and quality of writing..
i could not complete the precis writing bt fr this exam paper 2 will be crucial to give u an edge over others as paper 1 will saturate around max 140-150
although i didn’t attend the pet this year, i checked my marks out of curiousity and i thought i had performed well in paper-2. what i saw was a major setback for future self assessment. pathetic evaluation.

In CPA(AC)-2011, According to my calculation, I had scored 91 marks our 250 in Paper-1. But the UPSC is telling that I had scored just 67 marks!!! I belongs to General Category. What to do now?

sir I scored 251 marks in CAPF 2011 and still my name is not there in merit list whereas my friend got 256 and his rank is 446. He is also OBC.

and show the proof required for obc,non-creamy cert if required
as ur name should come because last recomm is 567 rank
in between many obc candidate can be there
as exam process is still on
you should verify caste frm upsc else they are considering you in general category.

It will be more than 45000 for AC as my brother in law is SI in CISF at Bangalore airport and is getting 36000 including all allowances.

Yadav is an OBC category and cutoff varies from year to year.
I am VIPIN YADAV I cleared the exam in 2010 & 2011.
2010 scores : General Ability and Intelligence – 79 & English – 43 (In 2010 English paper was of 150 marks) = Total – 122 (Last selection written + interview = 239)
2011 scores : General Ability and Intelligence – 80 & English – 62
TOTAL – 142 (Last selection written + interview = 245)
In 2010 I have my PET during my final year exams.
In 2011 Failed in PET in long jump event.
And sometimes total number of seats also varies during selection, as I had seen in 2010. In 2010 total vacancies published are 700+ but the selections are 800+ .
i have increased the word limit in essay(CPF EXANM). I Choosed the topic ‘migration from neighbouring countries and its socio economic impact’.I have written in 1700 words, almost 20 pages,while it was asked to write in 800 words.

total marks 168..still i m not qualified in written exam…wats the reason as cutoff marks were only 68 for 1st paper and there was no cutoff for paper 2nd and total marks cut off wbs 146 marks according to RTI
You need to score atleast 30% marks in paper 2 to qualify i.e 60 out of 200.
Dear kuldeep,there is individual cut off in both the papers .you have qualified in p1 with good marks.but in p2 your marks are too low to clear the written.
No their is no individual cut-off for paper-2, it exist for paper-1 only you need to score atleast 30% in Paper1+paper2 combine i.e 135 out of 450 to get through.
