Changing Exam centre for Tier II
It is not possible to change exam center for tier II. Read page 11 and 13 of the official notification, SSC has made it clear that:
1. The Commission will be allot the candidates to the same or nearby centre in Tier II Examination (where they had given Tier 1 Exam earlier).
2. No change of Centre of Examination will be allowed under any circumstance. Hence, the candidates should select the centres carefully and indicate the same correctly in their applications.

Competitive exams are cruel but Perseverance is necessary, there is no place for Devdas-giri after failures. In boxing a fighter is not defeated when he falls, but when he refuses to get up before the count of ten. So, study harder, practice more sums, revise more often, reappear again and success will yours- if not SSC then IBPS, LIC, RBI, CAPF, UPSC there are plenty of exams for you to crack.

Hello!
It is mentioned in the website that candidates who have prescribed educnl qlfcns only should apply for paper3. What does this mean? I do not have prescribed degree in economics/stats/commerce, so i need not write the paper 3 but how will they evaluate my marks- is it only based on p1 and p2 alone? Please clarify if anybody has an idea of this.

Yes they will not consider paper 3….n paper 3 is for an additional post…it will not have any impact on ur remaining papers….:)

If u had given preference to Statistical Invigilator post u will be qualified to appear for Paper 3 also..same thing happened with me..since I do not possess the required qualification , appearing for it is of no use..

@ Arun – from where did you get the info that people against whose name nothing has been mentioned have qualified for NON- Interveiw posts only?
If nothing is mentioned in List I , then it means “Candidates qualified in Tier-I for all posts” and he/she belongs to general category who has not applied for Paper-III posts.
If you still have doubts SSC will soon upload the marks of the candidates along with those who appeared for Tier I exam on 11.08.13

You can follow the following steps :
1. Google ssc tier II 2012 question paper …you will get many links or straightway go to sscportal and their download section and click cgl..you ll get the question paper.
2.For answer keys refer to ssc homepage and look for tier 2 answer keys.

Hi….Only 6787 candidates are selected from southern region out of more than 1,10,000 members from all over the country. Why is it so? Will the cutoff marks be region wise or overall?
yes.rajiv.this time exam was held in two dates.so probably the people who wrote on 19th may will score higher than people who wrote on 21st april.so cut offs got higher.

There has to be some mistake with this.
thats true rajiv..north region exam was held on may 19 and as per the information with me the papers were quite substandard(read easy) as compared to the south and west zone..that is the reason why the cutoff has risen from 82 last year to 96 this year..most of the qualified candidates belong to north zone even though the paper was leaked twice in NR at jaipur and some centre in bihar or U.P where reexaam were held..so i pity for the SR and WR candidates..its makes the work twice as tough for them in next round.

you might search for it on the net as there are plethora of sites having tier II papers , someone might have solved it.
if this method fails then the other way is to take the photocopy from someone’s Kiran Prakashan’s tier II books or you can have it from me but for that i will be needing your email id.

pls anybody tell wht else other than preparation for tier 2 we need to do i mean do we need to fill another form or something for tier 2 or are we going to get another admit card for tier 2 etc
you don’t have to fill another form.
ssc will issue admit cards before exam.
all you have to do is study hard.. :)
