Here is the latest (official) update on SSC CGL 2013 Tier II exam:
Yes, It will be held on 28th and 29th September, 2013 as per schedule.
Hon’ble Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi in MA 2508/2013 in TA No 48/2013 had stayed all further proceedings in pursuance of the notification issued for Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2013 until further order vide its order dated 23.09.2013. The said stay has been vacated for holding this examination, vide order dated 26.09.2013 of the Hon’ble CAT, Principal Bench, New Delhi.

Background:
- Despite Paper leak case in April, 2013, the SSC went ahead with the same question papers and conducted the tier-I examination, held on all India basis, on April 21.
- One petitioner Nitant Trivedi approached Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), New Delhi and hence CAT gave the stay on tier II exam.
- But now, Stay order has been lifted therefore, exam will be conducted on same schedule on 28-29 september 2013. (as per SSC’s official update)

last year cutoff for (tier 1 and tier 2) for st in non-interview posts was 242.since the paper was easy this year there COULD be an increase of 30 to 35 marks.

for interview posts cant say but for non-interview posts chances are good because last year cutoff was 281.50 for non-interview.even if the cutoff increases this year, which will surely it may not be more than 40 marks I THINK.

depends on what your preferences are.the pdf link given below tells you the no of vacancies that were available last year and the lowest and highest marks of those candidates who selected those posts.by seeing those marks you can get a ROUGH IDEA by adding around 35 to 40 marks to them.

only for tax assistant and one more post ( dont remember ) … auditor , accountant etc dont need typing test
but you will have to go to the center to submit ur certificates xerox and personal details form … waise last year they declared result for those who didnt go and gave them posts of Jr Accountant etc and had written that they shud submit their xerox and personal details form soon but better not take risk .. go to the center .. give ur xeroxes and come back
kya kuch post aisi bhi h ssc cgl 2013 m jinme keval t1 + t2 ka score kaafi hota h and there is no need for typing test or any interview ,i mean on the basis of t1 and t2 one gets job.

buddy all non interview posts ke andar only tier 1 and tier 2 are considered … typing test and all that is just qualifying .. marks include nai hote unke … so ” t1 + t2 = job ” ka scenario in all of them

mrunal sirji i am unable to download my CAPF (20-10-2013) hall ticket..while downloading hall ticket i am getting the message “NOT FILLED 2nd PART OF REGISTRATION YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO WRITE THIS EXAM”.as i already filled 2nd part of registration and 200rs deducted from my bank account,and my name is not their in fictitious list also…i already made a call to upsc many times but they are not responding to my call. i already sent my details and bank transaction through FAX but in response they dint sent any mail to me.

yes brother/sister i applied twice….because when i applied first time, in part-2 registration failed while submittiing fees.so i thought its better to apply 2nd time so i applied.but while applying part2 reg in 2nd time i recieved the message that”YOU ALREADY PAID THE FEES” so to confirm i checked my name in FICTITIOUS LIST,in that list my name was not their,so i confirmed my exam application accepted….while downloading mt hall ticket i got the message u did not filled part-2 reg you are not eligible to write the exam…as i already sent my all detail and bank transaction through a FAX to UPSC….but so far i dint recieved even a single response from UPSC…could you please tell me how to solve this problem….
or is their any problem from side????

In preferences i have given only a few posts.Now if i do not qualify for any of these posts which i have given in preferences but i qualify for lets say auditors or other posts not given in my preferences will i be called for those posts.please do reply sir.
no you wont be called for those posts …generally they dont consider it if not mentioned in ur form .. better not to expect…. BUT … hold ur breath !!! .. last year they had given the posts of non interview to even those who hadnt preferred for them….. but to only those who had gone for typing test (DEST) .. those not qualified for interview posts were called for typing test…. now in some non interview posts its not required to take typing test .. like auditor Junior accountant etc .. but you still have to go to the centre of typing test with ur original certificates and xerox copies and submit your details wala form there … after submitting this form and showing the clerk ur true certificates and getting ur certificates verified , no need to go for typing test if u dont want tax assistant .. jus submitting xerox copies of ur certificates and marksheets is necessary … if you do that then you will get non interview post except tax assistant if u clear the cutoff … All this IF they consider you for non interview post and IF u get a call for typing test (DEST).. and those as you can see … are two big ” IF’s ” … ATB

hi sir, i have an important question i have appeared in paper 3 of ssc tier 2 i.e. for statistics paper. later i found that i have not applied for the statistical investigator. will i be considered for that post. ssc issued call letters for statistics paper those who applied for the post statistical investigator/compiler OR those who left some job code vacant.

sir I am getting 390 .tier 1 122.50 and in tier 2 maths 129 marks and in English 140 may be between 390 to 391 for sure .may I get an interview post ??and in non interview my pref is dabefhcnmklpq and stste is ofegnu# which post and state I can get???

selection is going to be fair but tougher from next year.clear advantage for ppl who are preparing for civil services.i am happy because chances of unfair selection are minimal.only the toughest will win.
