What is meant by answering questions with a sociological perspective new to sociology so please help
writing questions with a sociological perspective is the heart and soul of Sociology paper(all 500 marks). If you write an answer to the question in sociology- your answer can fall between 2 extremes- one from general perspective and another from sociological. Now General perspective answers are answers for GS paper. For example..if you have to comment about issue of displacement of tribals, then writing about development, illiteracy among tribals, destruction of culture etc will be a general perspective. Here, you have to look thing through a sociological perspectives-like mode of prodcution changes, anomie, organic and mechanical solidarity etc. Similarly if you have to write about OBCs..you must mention interest groups , political parties, social mobility, land reforms etc. Mere legal definition of OBCs will not do. That’s a legal perspective.Hope now you understood it.
