One suggestion- You have framed such wonderful questions here. If you can put these questions under separate “General Studies Mains questionnaire” tab ( or a page itself dedicated to it) or just tag with it. This will definitely help in segregating articles at the mains time. Point is, people should not miss this Gold mine!! :)

  11. Thanks alot Sir…….

  13. Sir, i have a question regarding answer writing in main exam. For example, in your answer to “NO FIRST USE”, You used PM’s Name and a country’s Name. Is it necessary to use the name of the person and country even if one can also answer with out using these names????.Please help… Thanks for proving this valuable articles.

  16. Sir, i belong to Haryana state. Is it necessary to choose centre among state centres in SBI RECRUITMENT.AS Now, i live in Rajasthan. so, can i choose centre in rajasthan state.

    1. Yes u can dude :)

  17. Mrunal Sir,cloud you explain muscular foreign policy? ??

  18. Mrunal
The link between Pakistan’s Tactical Nuclear Weapon (TNW) and NFU is not clear. TNW cannot destroy large area, and use of TNW will give an alibi/cause for legally using nuclear weapons by India even with NFU.
So, how does TNW affect our NFU, even if it is stolen by terrorists there; and how will reneging on NFU help India prevent it?

    1. Another poser is how does “protocol, discipline, hierarchy” hamper our foreign policies? You’ve mentioned it in the last paragraph. Any example, please?

    2. You have Good Point Chandan. I dont think India will retaliate with Large scale in response to TNW. Pakistan as usual will blame Terrorists for such activities & will try to bring International Pressure on India for not to use NW. In such cases our NFU policy will be useless & Pakistan knows that.

Changing NFU Policy may Helpful to avoid such scenario but still it is debatable.

      1. Thanks Rohan.

  19. Very helpful article

  20. good coverage,sir

  21. Sir Tusi great ho…..

  22. sir i have very important question about all of your current affairs…
in every current affair you always you say that ……

Becoming reading further, write answer of following questions

GENERAL STUDIES MAINS PAPER 2 Mains answer writing practice:
Discuss in brief the “No first use” Nuclear weapon policy of India, and examine the needs for reform in it. (200 words)
Write a short note on structure and functions of UN ECOSOC (100 words)
What do you understand by the Arab Integration? Why is Arab integration necessary? What are the obstacle to Arab Integration?
What do you know about Rwanda Genocide? Why has France decided not to participate in its remembrance event?
What reforms are necessary in the MEA and Indian Foreign Service to help them effectively handle the diplomatic issues of contemporary times?

in every current affair you say WRITE ANSWER OF THE FOLLOWING.. Now my question is that when a person is unaware about the topics then how can One write the answers the questions.

    please reply soon.

    1. @Ankit,
Person should not be “unaware”, he should be reading these news from hindu/indianexpress/frontline/epw etc. on regular basis. Then he should come to Mrunal.org just to augment his preparation, get some additional points and crosscheck that he didnot miss any important developments. I’m not their substitute but just a supplement/catalyst.
Good score in mains exam requires answer writing practice. Just reading the articles alone won’t be of much help.

      1. Dear Mrunal Sir,
I am totally not unaware about the answers(reading hindu religiously) but it is not coming up to the mark when going for writing.Sir Please Suggest whether it will be effective if I first read ur articale then after end of each week or few days I write the questions then check.PLEASE ANSWER SIR, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR ME AS I AM ALSO FEELING A BIT LIKE @ ANKIT. WAITING FOR YOUR GUIDANCE

  28. @Mrunal : NFU policy was drafted by Mr.K.Subrahmanyam ,who was considered as the doyen of India’s strategic affairs, Mr.Brajesh Mishra then national security adviser merely approved(just a formality) it.
