Side note: Interviews for Assistant commandant (CAPF-2013) will start from 16th June 2014.

UPSC hasn’t disclosed the exact role numbers of the candidates in the buffer list yet.

Marksheet for prelims / mains / interview?
- Previously, after CSE-2012’s final result declaration, UPSC had uploaded the official prelim answer key, cutoffs and scores of everyone on their site. (Including the scores of candidates who failed in prelims).
- UPSC will do the same within next 15 days i.e. around 27th June 2014.
- Those who’re planning to shoot RTIs should wait and watch until then. Reason: even if you send RTI right now, UPSC will reply only a few days before 30 days legal deadline (it is one of the patented thuggary /red tape adopted by UPSC).

Till the last general candidate admitted, the list is on the basis of marks scored (merit) alone . That will not change the order of top 80-90% ranks in the list, it’s the service allocation where they will be benefitted

i didn’t qualified for the final list, feeling very low, after two years of hard work its very bad not to see my name in the final list. i started my preparation in 2012 and dedicated 2 precious years of my life for this exam, now i am unable to decide whether to prepare for this exam for another year or accept the job offer as a bank po and alongwith job prepare for the exam. my fear is if i didn’t join the job even then there is no guarantee that i would be selected next year because i have met many people who have faced interviews many times and still couldnot make it. it was my first cruel experience with upsc and still i am a person with high spirits and a person who is happy with his life , my fear is that if i face such cruel experiences in future would it hurt my moral and happy personal life. Please mrunal sir give me some advice i am really confused at this point of time.
Ramesh, I understand the agony.
Whether you should pick up the PO job or not- that depends on your financial situation, family support and age factor. (irrespective of age-relaxation, person approaching 28+ age, needs to slowly begin executing the backup given the uncertainties of UPSC).
By the way, RBI Grade “B” officer also worth considering.

I have decided not to join bank po as presently i am only 22 and also this was my first attempt so i think i can give one more full hearted try.Also i will appear for rbi grade b this time it is a much better option than bank po.Actually in the morning when i got up i was feeling very low but now am feeling much better and ready for the fight again with more determination to win.THANKYOU sir for your good work of guiding the aspirants , keep guiding us in future.

that was my 2nd attempt.. mujhe bahut insecurity aur darr lag rha hai..is attempt mai..
I didnt control on silly mistakes in both papers.. paper 2 mai delivered nhi ho paa rha hai..
