I’ve closed the comment system, because aspirants wasting too much time in debate, rather than studying.
UPSC has uploaded the halltickets for CSAT-2014. No change in exam date. It’s same 24th august 2014, Sunday. No change in exam structure- same two papers. No change in negative marking, same 33%.

Warning
- For entering date of birth while downloading admit card: select year first, then month and then date in the end..else it will not get selected.
- any discrepancy in name, parent’s name, photo then send mail to web-upsc@nic.in
- You’ve to tick OMR answers only in BLACK pen. Otherwise you paper will not will evaluated.
- I recommend you bring clipboard. Reason: Sarkaari colleges and highschools have benches have rough surface and holes. It’ll “injure” your OMR sheet while you’re marking answer in black pen.
- if you’ve applied twice, then Use HIGHER REGISTRATION number while downloading the hallticket.
- If your hallticket doesn’t have clear photo/signature, you will have to bring a photo identity proof viz. Adhar Card, Driving License, Passport, Voter I Card etc. and two passport size photographs one for each paper with an undertaking.
- Save your own hallticket PDF file in google drive. So there is no fear of misplacing/forgetting roll number.

All the best to all for CSAT Prelims. This will be my first attempt at UPSC and I am really excited about it.
I have downloaded my admit card and I can clearly “see” that someone has signed on it in blue ink just above the line “Controller of the Examination”
To me, it looks like admit card format was prepared in word document and the candidate photograph and signature images were added to it. After that, the scanned copy of the signature in blue ink of controller of examination was added and then that word document was converted to PDF and uploaded on UPSC website.
I may be wrong. But the bottom line is- my admit card possess signature of controller of examination.

Modi govt has made mockery of hindi aspirants. Jab kuch karna hi nahi tha toh kahe parliament me hungama kiya,,,, jitendra singh ne protester ko promise karke unka fast break karaya… I don’t say whether CSAT should be there or not… But jo govt ne kiya wo galat hai… .. pehle hi keh diya hota ki kuch nahi karenge ,,, sabka time kharab na hota….

till now most of students were in dilemma.but with the uploading of admit card UPSC shows that it wont succumb to any pressure.so my best wishes to all the serious candidates.

sir i have made two apllications and payment was deducted for my two applications but now its showing that two applctns are amalgamated and second one is considered but i have kept it for safety only and the centre is also not my state as for teh second applctn my state is over ..so what can i do now for taking the first applctn into consideration

I am facing the same situation. I called UPSC guys. As usual they were not much helpful. They were telling if I have print out of the Part II, then they would do something. I dont have printout of the Part II. In previous comments Mrunal had told to write a letter to UPSC and send a mail as well. The mail id is the same as one get when we click on the link of e-ticket. I have sent a letter by speedpost, email and fax. I suggest you people to do the same as well.

sir i have paid fee and got journal no too but did’t got hall ticket and its showing error like part 2 is not completed so you are not the eligible candidate for the exam..my name is not there in payment due list of upsc that released last week too….pls help

Sir, I am not able to download the admit card…message is being prompt that you have not filled part 2 registration….but i have done it and I have the bank transaction details also….I mailed the issue to UPSC but if they didn’t take any action ….my 1 year would be lost….
