Request: share your exam experience
RBI Grade B officer (Preliminary) exam was held on August 3, 2014 (Sunday) in two sessions. But since this exam is to be conducted online=>difficult for next years’ aspirant to find “previous question” papers. Therefore, I request all the readers, to share following data AFTER exam is over, in the comments below.
- What was the Span of current affairs latest and oldest topic asked in General Awareness?
- How much PIN (persons in news?) by the way, PIN-2014 series has been uploaded long time back. in case you missed, go to https://mrunal.org/current#pin
- General idea on “topicwise breakup” – in general awareness. How much economy (budget related), how much banking sector related and so on. Did they ask computer awareness in it?
- How tough was English section compared to SBI PO and CSAT?
- How tough / lengthy was Maths/DI section compared to other exams. Did they ask chillar questions like profit loss, or was it entirely focused on lengthy data interpretation as in SBI PO? what was the overall breakup?
- Reasoning section: did they ask high level reasoning like syllogism, assertion-reasoning, course of action etc?
- Other observations about pattern, trend, wisdom, tips for future aspirants.

UPPCS and RBI Grade B on same date…also RBI says no request for change in date of exam will be accepted…my 850 bucks waisted

Its bad for everyone. Mixed fonts and a copy-pasta work. My eyes started to bleed when I saw it. And Wth! Thumb impression? Are we prisoners?
Same issue.. thats so unfair.. atleast they should provide probable dates list..
great ,,, two state PCS on the same dates … and one from UP … makes it easier for other states ;) .. just kiddin … Kindly intimate the RBI office in writing… try to collect as much requisitions to postpone as possible citing State PCS exams as the reason …. Maybe they will consider postponing for ur states.. but then again ,,, wont it be unfair for the other states ????????? :)
Even the HPSC exam on the same date………….. n a lot of exam fees charged for these exams…………. thats really disgusting………..

in d notification dey had written 4 dates ..now dey conducting exam on single day, dat too on d day which hold most PCS exams of various states…cant dey shift d dates….atleast…..this is bad..!!!! :( …OFcourse will go for UPPCS….

from lal kuan again take auto to masuri…auto wala there know about each n every colg..there will be no problem
from anand vihar it could take 1-1.5 hrs to reach the colg..plan accordingly

Will u please update the study plans of IBPS PO as last time it was online and cutoff went drasticaly down and so much changes in the question pattern was there. Your analysis is based on 2012 & 2011 paper which seems a little bit outdated. So I request u to update that one for the benefit of more no of candidates.

RBI has gone out of the way to ensure that minimum number of students appear this time.
But why would RBI do so? Many people would lose an opportunity to work with RBI. Does anybody have an idea of the number of applicants for RBI grade b exam?
It does not matter bhai. There are many serious RBI aspirants who dont bother about these state psc exams
I have sent mail on contact us page at rbi. Got a reply that they wont shift the exam. But atleast registered my grievance. Others please do the same.

Let’s gather outside RBI office and Protest and get the exam delayed. This is unfair! Already the vacancies are in hundreds in comparison to lacks of applicants. How will we get jobs?
Don’t use these SSC tricks on RBI. If u want to be grade B officer in RBI just go for it and skip other exams. as simple as that.

Guys stop sending mails to RBi. They dont care anyway. Make ur mind n just go for d post which u think suitable for u otherwise ask ur state psc to change their date.

Sir,
Please do not shift the grade B officer exam on any other day on requests of candidates. these candidate have applied for other exam so ask them to request other employer to shift their exam . why should RBI shift the exam. if they are really serious for RBI they should leave the other exam. but they are taking taking the RBI as stand by exam which is not acceptable.
Sahi kiya bhau…these people should go and ask their respective state psc to change their examination date….some suggesting to protest in front of rbi office instead of this they should go and protest in front of their state psc office…there are 29 states in our country and RBI is central autonomous body, so why should rbi shift its date…some people have also applied for haryana and up psc simultaneously…are they protesting…NO…just choose what is more important for you…

RBI should shift the exam becoz according to dere notification dey were to conduct exams in 4 given dates 2,3,8,9 aug ….now dey conducting exam on d single day i.e 3 aug dat too on d day which holds so many state services exam….i guess u dont have other paper doesnt mean others are not facing prob …. aur yahan serious player ki baat hi nahi aati…kyunki psc exams announced dere dates one month prior…it was rbi onus to not clash d exam..watever..!! everyone has dere exam priority but some or d other way candidates of both exams miss one of dem.. dats bad!! :(
Satyam and his fellow compatriots you people are especially mr satyam by sending this mail u have only displayed a sychophantic attitude. there are people who are facing this dilemma of giving which exam on 3rd august both are important. Hcs uppsc and wbpsc that i know now are having exams on same day as rbi. mostly will drop rbi as becoming collector of their state is a little one up, more attractive than becoming grade b. its like 19-20 deal. BY sending this mail u have only displayed your immaturity. Please do not waste time by sending mails like that. if its beyond your understanting. please stay out of it.
