Candidates qualified for Paper-III for the post of Statistical Investigator/Compiler may note that they should appear in Paper-III, only if they possess the educational qualification prescribed for the post.

What is meant by cat 1 2 3 in result. Please someone explain.
they are type of categories viz. SC ST OBC Ex.Servicemen Handicapped and UnReserved.

After doing a lot of google search, I think I have found the answer. CAT1, 2, 3 is the reserved category. May be cat 1 is SC, cat 2 is ST and so on. And QLY FOR P 3 means that the students who have YES written under it, they have also qualified for statistical post. But please correct me if I am mistaken. Thank you.
yes. you r correct. Those who opted for statistical Investigator and compiler as well as who are possessing the educational qualification can attend the exam if the QLYfor P3 is yes. CAT1 means horizontal category CAT2 means vertical category. May be CAT3 means if they are EXS. Suppose the people don’t fill the option as Tax Assistant (means kept ‘BLANK’) also consider for Tax assistant. So they may proceed with their constant preparation cause you have to compete with the people those who are selected for All posts. All the best guys to succeed in their Tier II. I hope they may publish the scores within a week.
EXPLANATION OF CODES USED FOR CATEGORY ALONGWITH THE ROLL NO., IF ANY :-
1 = Scheduled Caste, 2 = Scheduled Tribe 3 = Ex-Serviceman, 4 = Orthopaedically Handicapped
5 = Hearing Handicapped, 6 = Other Backward Class, 7 = Visually Handicapped
If I am getting yes under P3 ,but all the remaining category fields are blank then what does it mean ?
Cat 1 is st/sc/obc means cast wise.
Cat 2 is vh/oh Means disables.
Cat 3 is for ex serviceman

guys…. i dont knw whether u have noticed it but how is it possible that more people have qualified from obc category as compared to general and the diff is around 14000..!!!!is that a type error or is it real??
Because many obc, sc, st candidates qualify with general cutoff.
They may have marks above 102 but still they will be given reservation benefits.
The no of candidates given against obc(or sc or st ) does not mean all of them have marks less than 102, some of them may get above 102.
dear due to backlog year vacancy for last three year
That Means they have got morethan 102….If total 100 vacancy,acc to govt rule 50 unreserved but what is happening is in unreserved,in 50 vacancies again 30 will be filled by merit of reserved people that means truly general people are getting 20 out of 100 vacancies…

Sir, what’s the meaning of cat1, cat2 and cat3? My roll no and name is appearing in list 1 but there is no number under cat1, cat2 or cat3. What does it mean?
A much larger number of OBC candidates compared to UR , how is this possible. ( when the cutoff is also lower ) .
cutoff is lower that is why larger no of candidates qualified .

Sir, I looked at the tentative vacancies and there are no seats of MEA for ST category…..is that a typing mistake, if not, does it mean no ST will get MEA…..
Even if there is a single vacancy, any one can get that seat. It only means that there is no reserved seat for ST in that particular post.
Please why there are two PDF of result, one is for all posts and other is for tax assistant only

Personal:Its been glorious year for me. first ssc(which got cancelled) then capf now again ssc (re-exam). :D Hence, your work always have been inspiration and tool for civil service aspirants and it did same for me. My name appears on the list, but I just need to know that under the titles of CAT 1, CAT 2, CAT 3, there is nothing written under it. However, on the extreme right corner it says YES under QLY FOR p3. Please tell me anyone what it is. I desperately need to know.
means you’ve qualified for Stats paper as well …. if u dont give stats paper u will not be eligible for Stats investigator job but will be qualified for other jobs if u give tier 2 exam for english and maths and qualify the cutoff

if after interview u get stats investigator then u will be disqualified … best is not to take exam of stats .. take english and maths exam and be done with it
