Purpose of this page
- I see people keep posting doubts/queries regarding SSC 2014 hallticket, in recent articles. But their comments get scattered = less chances of getting help from others.
- Therefore, I’ve created this page. You may post your queries and help others solve their queries- regarding SSC CGL 2014 tier 1 exam. It’ll be held on 19th and 26th October.
- If any doubt on exam center address, please first search google maps, still no help then post doubt in comments below.
- This time also, SSC allotted random centres. Delhi candidates given hall tickets to Rajasthan center and so on. So, you may also coordination for lodging, accommodation, Vehicle pooling, joint-travel plans etc. in comments as well.

SSC hallticket “search” by name doesn’t work
on those official websites, if you try to search your registration id/roll number but if it doesn’t work then,
Enter 4 character or youur name without surname and DOB – it will work.
Bad Quality Photo/Signature
In case the scanned photograph(s) is not clear, invigilators are required to verify the identity of the Candidates with reference to the photo ID Proof and get colour photographs pasted on the Commission‘s copy of Admission Certificate and/or on Attendance Sheet as the case may be.
Accordingly, candidates should bring passport size colour photographs (two photographs for each session).
No entry without id-proofs
Candidates must carry at least one photo bearing IDENTITY PROOF in original such as Driving Licence, Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, Identity Card issued by University/College, Income Tax Pan Card to the examination center, failing which THEY SHALL NOT BE ALLOWED TO APPEAR FOR THE EXAMINATION.

Official Facebook Update: Call letters for CGL- 14 for NWR have been sent by post but due to holidays these may reach in next 3- 4 days. On website, these will be available within 2 days as we are resolving problem of shifting of candidates of 2- 3 centres.

Most bogus, because they’ve uploaded a very large PDF file of 5566 pages(!), very difficult to download on slow speed internet. and they claim to upload halltickets soon.

Sir, I have SSC CGL exam on 19/10/2014 in visakhapatnam.My friends told me that exam may not be possible on that day because HUDHUD cyclone damaged entire visakhapatnam But few of them alerted it will be going on since it was offline exam.
So please give me a proper guidance/advice whether exam is possible or not!!!!!!!

naa g naa…ssc is not infallible …they often commit so sillly mistakes in their keys…our prudence does not rely on their wit…damn sure; QSU is the answer..

I am from Kalyan and My centre at Chandrapur……… on 26th oct at 1 pm………… Journey can be like Kalyan to wardha by sevagram exp… we reach wardha at 4.00 am and we have train from wardha to Chandrapur at 4.40am we can reach till morning 7.30am …….. Wardha to chandrapur just 200 km……………..

as far as lucknow as the paucity of trains n buses from here is known by everyone.
exam centre as far as 450 kms is discouraging.
exam – morning 9-am shift.
u can take rajyarani express or nauchandi.
U can very well get cheap hotels near station. Area near station is called Charbagh. U vl get a sharing auto/tempo to jankipuram/engg. college from charbagh.
Thereafter cross the main road or engg. college chauraha, and get into tempo going towards Jankipuram extension.
It takes around 1hr to reach dere

a skilled half skilled and unskilled labourer work for 7, 8 and 10 days respectively and they together get rs 369 for their work. if the ratio of their each day,s work is 1/3:1/4:1/6, then how much does the tarined labourer get in rupees?
ratio of no. of days = 7:8:10
ratio of each day’s work = 1/3:1/4:1/6
ratio of work done by them = 7/3:8/4:10/6
7/3a+8/4a+10/6a=6a
a=369/6=61.5
skilled person will get =61.5*7/3=143.5

Hi . 1-d, 2-b, 3-c, 4- c . (i can be wrong)
In 1st question 3 methods are income distribution, value addition, expenditure (which i think is option c) method .
2nd – diminishing returns means a new factor of production cost (say for land it is rent, for human resource it is salary, for entrepreneur it is profit, for capital invested it is interest payments) will decrease total FoP cost . very cheap example is rent for land over time couldnt go high with diminishing returns, (Only if it was at stable rate before)
3rd – here the new Fop addition help increase in production .
Kindly go trhough factors of production definiton for 2nd and 3rd question
