Purpose of this page
- I see people keep posting doubts/queries regarding SSC 2014 hallticket, in recent articles. But their comments get scattered = less chances of getting help from others.
- Therefore, I’ve created this page. You may post your queries and help others solve their queries- regarding SSC CGL 2014 tier 1 exam. It’ll be held on 19th and 26th October.
- If any doubt on exam center address, please first search google maps, still no help then post doubt in comments below.
- This time also, SSC allotted random centres. Delhi candidates given hall tickets to Rajasthan center and so on. So, you may also coordination for lodging, accommodation, Vehicle pooling, joint-travel plans etc. in comments as well.

SSC hallticket “search” by name doesn’t work
on those official websites, if you try to search your registration id/roll number but if it doesn’t work then,
Enter 4 character or youur name without surname and DOB – it will work.
Bad Quality Photo/Signature
In case the scanned photograph(s) is not clear, invigilators are required to verify the identity of the Candidates with reference to the photo ID Proof and get colour photographs pasted on the Commission‘s copy of Admission Certificate and/or on Attendance Sheet as the case may be.
Accordingly, candidates should bring passport size colour photographs (two photographs for each session).
No entry without id-proofs
Candidates must carry at least one photo bearing IDENTITY PROOF in original such as Driving Licence, Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, Identity Card issued by University/College, Income Tax Pan Card to the examination center, failing which THEY SHALL NOT BE ALLOWED TO APPEAR FOR THE EXAMINATION.

Official Facebook Update: Call letters for CGL- 14 for NWR have been sent by post but due to holidays these may reach in next 3- 4 days. On website, these will be available within 2 days as we are resolving problem of shifting of candidates of 2- 3 centres.

Most bogus, because they’ve uploaded a very large PDF file of 5566 pages(!), very difficult to download on slow speed internet. and they claim to upload halltickets soon.

hi everyone,
i noticed a spelling error in my name in the admit card. a letter in my surname is missing. then i checked in my application details which i had saved while filling up the form. the error is there too. perhaps i did the mistake while filling the form. this is my first and last attempt in cgl exam. please suggest what can be don to rectify the mistake.

I am from bhandara.
The nearest railway station is Bhandara Road. Try for Maharashtra Express, get down at bhandara road and you will get shared taxis to bhandara (12 km from station), go directly to bhandara main bus stand.
J M Patel College is only 500-600m from bus stand.

yes, there are so many…you will get easily…there is no railway station at bhandara..you directly go to bhandara bus stand from bhandara road railway station…

I’m from NR region, I submitted my form using offline mode, so I don’t have a reg number with me. The only way to download admit card is by Name/DOB combo, and it is showing it as invalid combination. There is no rejected/accepted candidate list either.. I’m in a great mess, if you have any suggestions please let me know.. Thanks in advance.

Anyways, it is in Shahdara. You can find a metro and reach there and then ask any auto rickshaw driver to take you there.

Big Doubt No.1: How to go?
Option 1: By Train
For those who have their exam in the morning session, the best option is go from “Jammu-Tavi fast express”. This train is also known as “Pooja super fast express” so don’t get confused by the name. It’s scheduled to arrive at Delhi Cantt station at 5:15 a.m and it will take you to the Alwar junction station at 7:15 a.m.(For more info, http://indiarailinfo.com/search/delhi-cantt-dec-to-alwar-awr/351/0/358 )
The fare is Rs.75 for general class compartment. Normally this train is on-time and will take 2 hrs approx. to reach Alwar junction.
Option 2: By Bus
You have to reach Dhaula Kaun to catch the inter-state roadways buses. Look for the Rajasthan state buses. Most of these buses have written on themselves various names of places like Alwar, Jaipur etc. It will better to confirm from the conductor or driver before get into the bus.
The fare is Rs.156 and it will take 3 hrs approx to reach Alwar.
Big Doubt No.2: Where this school is?
It’s a very small school and the landmark to this school is “Nangli Circle”. When you’ll reach Alwar anybody can tell you about it. It’s basically a “Gol Chakkar” but you won’t be in need of asking from anyone after reading this.
Step 1: If you have reach Alwar from train, then come on to platform no 1 and step out from the station.
Step 2: Start walking to your left. (This school is 15 minutes walk-in distance from railway station so don’t hire any rickshaw)
Step 3: Take right and go straight. After few meters a “Gol chakkar” will come that’s “Nangli circle”. Cross it and keep moving straight. After few more meters you’ll find the school. It will be on your left.
And if you have reach Alwar by bus, then ask the driver to stop at “Nangli Circle” and after reaching there, ask from anybody; as this school is just 2 minutes walk-in distance from it.

I have to depart from Mathura at 10 AM by bus or by train ? Since i am coming from Maharashtra, i had limited options and mathura is the nearest station towards Alwar from my route.
It will be a minimum of 3 hour journey from mathura to alwar by bus. forget about train, as only passenger shuttle train runs on this route no express train is available and they will take more time than bus. ask the driver to stop at SMD circle and from there ur college is 1 KM . u can hire rickshaw or auto from there.
P.S. : manage ur time properly, don’t go by the time(journey hours) of google map as it is possible that u might have to switch two buses .

Mrunal sir might have inadvertently missed the eastern region. However, eastern region admit cards have been uploaded (on 7th october). The process of retrieving the admit cards is a bit different from other regions.
Firstly one needs to get his roll number (by entering the name and date of birth) through this link-

Thereafter..once one gets his/her roll number go to the link which says ‘Download admit card’ and enter the roll number and date of birth. The admit card will be downloaded.
