Sir, I think there are more stuff related to Indian Economy (Micro & Macro) required to update…..
Why Nelson Mandela was given Bharat Ratna when he was not an Indian??
how can i enroll in for online study material. .
Bharat Ratna is the highest civilian award f our nation and such awards (Highes Civilian Awards) can be conferred to any worthy/deserving personality in in recognition to the humanity/mankind.
eg.
>Nishan-e-Pakistan (one of the Highest civilian awards of Pakistan) has been awarded to Morarji Desai …
>SRK has been awarded with France’s highest civilian honour [http://www.thehindu.com/entertainment/srk-receives-frances-highest-honour/article6169996.ece]
>Manmohan Singh became first ever indian to recieve Japan’s top honour – The Grand Cordon of the Order of the Paulownia Flowers
Thanks sir
sir plz light on about some environment related topic
Highest civilian award of any country can be awarded to a deserving person, even if he/she is not a citizen of the awarding country. Those awards are usually instituted to recognize services to the mankind as a whole. Better examples would be Mr. Ratan Tata getting the Grand cross of UK (one of the highest awards of The Great Britain), Acharya Vinobha Bhave, Ms.Kiran Bedi, Mr. T N Sheshan getting Ramon Magsaysay award. These awards has been given to Indians, even though instituted by other countries. On the similar lines, even Bharath ratna has been given to non Indian Mr. Ghaffar Khan in 1987 ( he was a Pakistan citizen, when he was awarded Bharath Ratna) for his incredible contribution as an Independence activist and Mr. Mandela in 1990 for his outstanding contribution to humanity as a whole.
thank u sir

In bharat ratna, a maximum of 3 awards can be given in a year. But in the year 1999, 4 awards were given. Isn’t that contradictory? please clarify it sir.
You said that, in an year maximum 4 can be awarded with bharat ratna, but in the year 2014.
UPA govt gave 2 awards to CNR Rao, and Sachin Tendulkar
whereas
NDA govt gave 2 awards to Madan Mohan Malviya & Atal Bihari Vajpayee
so
there are total 4 awardee ,………….
