- Warning: READ The NOTIFICATION thoroughly before applying. Otherwise you’ll face many problems during tier-2 and interview stage e.g. you’re not eligible for xyz post because of education /medical and so on.
- New post added: Sub inspector in National investigation agency (NIA) Group “B”
- Education: Candidate must have completed their education on or before 1st August 2015.
- Age: to be counted on 1st August of the given year. (refer to table given on page1, for minimum age limit for each post and rule 5(A) on page 5.

FAQ (Frequently asked Questions)
OBC certificate
Certificates obtained in any other format will not be accepted. OBC certificate in the prescribed format issued between 02.06.2012 and upto 29.11.2015, only will be accepted.

Post preference
Revised options for posts will not be taken at the time of document verification. The options exercised in the application form are final.(page – 19 of official notification) The candidate is required to indicate his Posts-wise preference very carefully. He/She would not be considered for any post, if he/she has not indicated his preference for such posts. Option once exercised in the application is final and therefore, candidates are advised to be careful in exercise of option for posts.

Height For men – 170 cms (usually it is 165 cm in police jobs)

Tie in scores?
Ties cases will be resolved by applying one after another, as applicable till the Tie is resolved.
- Total marks in the written examination and Interview, wherever, applicable.
- Total marks of Tier-II Examination.
- Total marks in Tier-I Examination.
- (iv)Date of Birth, with older candidate placed higher.
- Alphabetical order in which the first names of the candidates appear.

Who graduates by the age of 18 ?!
Must be a wonder kid….
Emailed to Chairman and send RTI thousand times about the lower age limit. NO REPLY from ssc chairman, and RTI said age limit is accourding to RR, recruitment rules maintained by DoPT. Every time they are bypassing the main question that how a graduate can be aged 18 years only. Please someone raise your voice, Mrunal, why don’t you encourage this issue. You never stand with my views in “Dr.” Roman Saini issue, for this what you will say ?

logically speaking by the age of 15/16 one completes 10th standard,17/18 one completes intermediate/+2 and by 21/22 one completes degree/btech/mbbs/law etc etc…then how come these brainless people are taking 18 as lower age limit? are they educated/uneducated? grow up Dopt…we must fight for this injustice ..we must rebel,do a mass protest infront of supreme court,..the age limit should be 21-28 years for group C and 21-30 for all group B posts…even all psu banks are following these rules…it’s a shame for central govt department …even all state govts are far better in age limit than central….nowadays due to heavy competition,all are getting a gov.job @25 years, all must think it once …it our india,our youth india not for bloody politicians…rupee is depreciating and petrol prices are hiking for this vast unemployment …pls DOPT use your common sense ,grow up!

FILLED APPLICATION IN FIRST ATTEMPT. MT FRIEND HAS SOME PROB AS HE WAS TRYING AT SSCONLINE2.GOV.IN BUT WHEN I FILLED HIS APPLICATION AT SSCONLINE.NIC.IN, IT WAS SMOOTH SAIL.
SO GUYS U CAN TRY THIS METHOD MAYBE IT WORK FOR YOU MAY NOT.
Why can’t they hire better software people in their department.Despite fulfilling all the eligibility criteria and only applied for specific post (upto 30 years post), my form showed not eligible message. In this age, when IBPS is doing an extraordinary job and manages applications of many times more candidates than ssc, very fast in producing result and very transparent as compared to ssc, SSC is far way behind it. The time will come that the charm of SSC will be reduced only due to these reasons, in fact it is happening from the past few years. Banks are way more transparent that SSC and PCS.
@KingMaker There are some idiots sitting there. I am aged 28 and 10 months wanted to apply for posts which had age criteria of 30. same as in your case. Not eliglible says the server which wanted to validate. It was way better in other exams.

I am Devraj Acharya DOB-17/04/1989. I am facing the same problem of “Age Criteria”, though I am all correct and I have checked the notice thoroughly of CGL 2015, except inspector in CBI which is upto age 25, all are aged upto 27 and 30 too. then how come I am not elgible for CGL 2015 for the issue “Age Criteria”. These central govt. people they all are idiots sitting in their chair and doing nothing at all, to resolve the issue.
