Individual marks are uploaded or not??
it will be uploaed within a week
Wt about cse 2016 prelim cut off???will csat only qualifying in nature??
Thanks sir..
Individual marks upload takes time
your notes are very helpfull.
some what i am confused that prelim cut off of 2013 and 2014 is above 200 and for 2015 this cut for obc is near about 106.kindly clear my doubt.
this year cut off for pre includes only of paper 1, while that of 2013 and ’14 included paper 2’s marks as well ……
baaki to samjhdaar ko ishaara kaafi h ;) cheers …
2013 and 2014 were out 400 marks with paper 1 and 2 200 each. last year only gs paper-1 was taken for consideration. So cutoff is out of 200 and paper-2 should score qualifying marks i. 70 marks
Because that included csat marks that’s why..due to change in pattern last year only paper 1 marks are included.!
they didnt count paper 2 marks
Earlier it was GS+CSAT
Now cut off is based on GS marks
CSAT is qualifying in nature
That’s y
thank you sir
for the year 2014,both paper 1 and paper 2 marks were considered i.e for 400 marks so the cut off is above 200.
but for 2015 and 2016 paper 2 is made qualifying and so paper2 marks are not considered for the total. cut off is for 2015 and 2016 is considered only for 200 marks of paper 1
For 2015 only paper one marks were counted for determination of qualification for mains…..
For 2015 prelims csat was made just as the qualifying paper. So marks scored in csat will not be added to the total. For 2013 and 2014, it was including csat marks also. So only there is huge difference in cut off.
sir subject to 10 % marks means ?
You should get at least 25 marks in each subject to qualify.
paper 2 is qualifying paper
merit count only paper 1 in 2015 prelims
Dear CSAT ONLY qualifying
Sharavanan ……..means only 25 marks need to compulsory for paper check
subject to 10% marks means that you should have secured atleast 10% marks in every paper.
how much time will take to upload Individual marks ?

Thank u sir …
Mrunal, when can one know the outcome of the Information gathering exercise (not survey) conducted by UPSC. It was pertaining to reforms in UPSC CSE Examinations. What are the possibilities with respect to the age limits…
means in a paper of 250 Marx.. one should at least score 25 in each paper.. otherwise agar 1 paper mein 250/250 hai.. second mein 200/250 hai,. third mein 240/250 aya and so on.. par kisi subjects mein 24/250 aaya.. to total to cross ho jayega cutoff se par list mein naam nahi ayega kyunki ek subject mein 10% minimum nahi score hua..jism 24 aaye..
I hope it will help
unreal man
why paper 2 marks were not counted in mains selection , and why we have to give the paper 2 if the marks were not counted
Bro for 2013&2014, paper 2was counted n hence above 200

Thank You So Much MRUNAL Sir for analysing Cut Off in so simple way.
Thank you sir
It means at least we have to attend 80% then we wil get 60% i.ee approx 115-120 marks in gs paper
If the marks obtained in Paper 2 of the prelims is not counted, then what was the minimum cut off for each paper in prelims to qualify for Selection to the mains?
