in an unprecedented display of efficiency and transparency, just a day after UPSC declared the final result of Civil services exam 2015, now they’ve uploaded the cutoff marks as well.
Prelim Paper-II marks were not counted in Mains-selection.
In the Civil Services Examination, 2015 the minimum qualifying standards (marks)/marks secured by the last recommended candidate in various categories at various stages are as under:

The cut off of OBC and general at the prelims are almost equal since 2014. Was it because of the extra attempt?

Is it possible to crack preliminary without taking coaching? I will give CSE for the 1st time in 2016. I give 5 to 6 hours in GS 1 everyday.

Please provide the information regarding no. of selections numerics of non-english medium in years since 2013……………………….
Final Marksheet is also out for selected candidates..1069 is the mark AIR 1 got.206 mark is highest marks any candidate got in personality test.868 mark is the highest marks ,any candidate got in Written exam
Typo* its 1063 marks,AIR 1 got.
Even for PT its 209 if i m not mistaking n not 206,dhrumil
3 students have got 209 marks in the personality test.
Its because in 2013 and 14 UPSC counted papet 2 (CSAT) marks in the prelims. But from 2015 CSAT have been made qulifying paper in which you have to secure minimum 33% marks to qulify for prelims and Paper 1 GS merit have taken into consideration.Gs paper is for 200 marks.So it showing low merit for 2015.
How can the cutoff go to .34, either it should be .33 or .67

hi, in the list published by UPSC. There is a column that goes by heading COMM.. What exactly it represents???
COMM = Community
1 for SC
2 for ST
3 for OBC
4 for General (other than SC/ST/OBC)
COMM = Community

u can give any govt exam.In bank some of the post like specialist officer require regular degree but u can give bank po and clerk .
When did upsc will upload individual marks for every candidate

Since you are a graduate you are definitely eligible for UPSC IAS(Civil Services). For rest of the competitions kindly note their percentage requirements in their respective notifications.
Sir is NOC requires for govt. servants for cs examination
no NOC is required! You have to just intimate your department that you are appearing for UPSC CS and have a copy with you.
U need to inform your office/HoD in writing about applying for CS(P).
NOC is submitted at later stage i.e mains or at interview time.
and for matter of fact procedural requirement for getting NOC involves intimation by the applicant and further processing by concerned office.
Right now only online application is to be submitted at UPSc.

How one can know whether he/she is in reserve list or not as the declared list doesn’t mention the list of candidates under reserve list.
