Speed of result delivery
- Written exam was taken in the last week of April 2013.
- Final result comes in the first week of Aug 2013.
- Approximately just 100 days, and recruitment is done. (despite the fact that ~17 lakh candidates had applied for the PO job.)
- Perhaps UPSC, SSC and State PCS should learn something from SBI.

I am working in a PSB and selected in SBI PO 2013 n circle allocated to me is KOLKATA.
I got a mail from bank it says 1 week orientation training at Apex Training Institutes and there after 2 week training at SBLC .
I want to know does anyone have any idea over ATI and where it is located…. I heard abt SBLC but dont know abt ATI .
there are 2 ATI’s one in Gurgaon another in hyderabad…..from when does this training starts do you have any dates?
Training will start in phases and starts from mid of sept to mid of October. before that all formalities like document verification, medical, etc.

My joining date is 2nd Sept at Indore for training. However I will take an extension coz my present employer i.e, Union Bank of India will relieve me on 6th sept. So I m planning to take a 10-12 days extension.

As per Dy. Mgr, HR, Extension will be available upto 31-12-2013 on valid grounds.
Is it possible to change cirle?
I have been allotted the ahemedabad circle and want Delhi or Lucknow circle.
Me too got same circle…. But you cant change the circle now as they have been allotted based on your Preference and your merit… its an automatic process…. May be thats why some ppls got preference which they did not fill….
May be in future we can change the zone by mutual exchange (I am not sure whether that happens in SBI or not)

Can SBI rejects any body on health reasons .I just inquired with the HR & she said that medical formalities will take place only after you have relieving letter in your hand.Of course they are allowing time for that but once resigned then u are out of luck if something like this happens .Hence friends have u heard of any such cases .
No Ayush. M also working now, in Union Bank of India. I got my medical check done before I got relieved from UBI. So, this is not an issue.

Got Bhopal circle.Can anyone tell me what is the procedure for medical examination. As in does SBI has their owne doctors or they give the list of hospitals where the same can be done. Please suggest the complete procedure.

friends i am also a P.O in sbi of 2011 batch a yr senior to u ppl. I wud like to share a thing or two which u may find useful.
1. Regarding training at training institutes.
A.ONE WEEK ORIENTATION PROG AT HYDBAD OR GURGAON.
B.TWO WEEKS TRAINING AT SBLCS
C.4 WEEK TRAINING AT INDORE ATI.
2.Regarding extension.
Yes u can get one yr extension depending upon authenticity of your cause.(it depends how you manage with yr medical certificates)
3.Regarding working conditions
If you are joining sbi thinking of old age work culture of 10 to 5 forget about it. You may enjoy during ur probation period but not after confirmation. Probation too is not bed of roses . You will be doing works you may not suppose to do.deputations are frequent but you will be handsomely paid.
4. Regarding salary
Ur basic will be of 16900+approx 90%DA + 45 LTR petrol (2 wheeler)/60 LTR for 4 wheeler . it varies a bit from urban to rural center.what i have written in minimum.+{newspaper 450rs+750 cleansing+1000 tea coffee+450 entertainment}.In a nut shell u will be getting 30000/ around in hand including perks , deductions are exclusive amounting to 5000/ approx.
apart from these u will be eligible for lease accommodation which varies from 8000 at rural centers to 29500 in mumbai.
5 A thought
For those who have no other option join sbi u will not regret it if u can work late and you can get quick promotions a well.
for those who value family life above work look for alternatives if age is in favour of you.

It totally depends to u.after 7-8pm how u manage ur time.if u learn to say “no” u can manage . Work never ends in SBI u have to prioritise.
