In SSC CGL 2013 (Tier 2) Paper 1 Booklet No. 445OL600, the Question No.98 was as following:
Q.98 The average Kharif production in the given year is:
- 4 million tonnes
- 5 million tonnes
- 4.5 million tonnes
- 5.5 million tonnes
Official Answer given by SSC is (C), but the correct answer is (A) because:
Definition of Average = (sum of all observation) / (No. of observations)
As per the given chart, Average Kharif production
=(5+4+4+3+4)/5
=20/5
=4 million tonnes
Hence answer is (A).

maths ke tier 2 paper me question number 97 ka option a sahi hai set -112 LO3 ….. lekin ssc ne option c diya hai …. ab correction ke lie letter likhu ya jaane du …. kuch log kehte hai ki ssc tumhara roll number track karke kuch p[aresani hoga …. yahi problem mere saath tier 1 2013 mein hua…. answer key se count karne par 120/200 tha lekin result mein 113.25/200 dia hai …. kya mujhe rti ke lia apply karna chahiye ya we log ulta mere par action le sakte hai …… i am in great doubt sir…. plz reply any1 ASAP….. thanks to all plz reply
no one will take action against u…and even sone of my friends had this problem I.e there marks decreased even they did not object in tier 1..and my marks increased by 5…

If I have not given preference for non interview post, then will I get the non interview post if I don’t qualify for interview post??
usually they dont it seems but last year they called them and even if you dont prefer Tax asst you got to go to the typing test with your original certificates etc(i was told this by KJ(thanks 2 him) in another post),but no guarantee they may call u this year.I too hav done same mistake.got 2 hope they do call.

agar cgl ke interview mein reject ho jate hai, toh kya non-interview posts ke liye select honge..? coz already d scores are higher than the ones who are allotted.

u r right vipin…cut off may be around 400 for general and 375 for obc…and see last year in upsc cut off was 209 for general but this year it was around 235 to 240..

as far as state is concerned all states do have vacancies for tax assistant so depends on the state preferences you have given and salary is group C payband 5200-20200 with gradepay 2400,so u will get a gross salary of nearly 25000Rs in X category cities.

y r u fooling others buddy. do u know d last yr cut off for auditor and TA i.e. 298 & 314 for UR. AND according to u at 374 this will get TA. KYA CUT-OFF SIDHI 70-80 MARKS UPAR AA JAYEGI. DON’T CREATE PANIC AMONG D CANDIDATES AND WHEN U CAN’T REASONABLE GUESS THEN NO NEED TO ANSWER. KEEP UR THOUGHTS WITHIN U.
In earlier post, u have written that cut-off will be higher 30-40 marks then add it to last yr cut-off it comes around 340 & 354 for TA & Auditor.

IT WASNT I WHO SAID TAX ASSISTANT FOR 374, PLEASE CHECK AGAIN.
sir at no point did i say for 374 u wil get tax assistant,i only said for NON INTERVIEW POST “YES”.and when they asked what is TA i was talkin about job profile and salary and states.auditors come under non interview posts. infact one who gets above 370 i believe has a very good chance(almost 100%) of auditor, and i say very good chance because some states have cutoff lesser than 320 while states like Delhi and UP had 351 and 345 for CAG auditors while CGDA auditors as you yourself mentioned are lesser than 320,i am talkin of lowest cutoffs(accordin to SSCs release of 2012)
and YOU ARE RIGHT when you said cutoff WILL NOT rise to 70 to 80 marks.

i am getting 422.5 marks(tier 1+2) and 116 in tier 1.i am expecting interview call.i want to know that if i manage to clear interview with average 50% marks then what post will i get.please reply if anyone has any idea about it.
by now most of us know that cutoffs will increase by 30 to 50 marks.so add them to those marks in the pdf below for those posts which you prefer you will have an idea.

Code “D” in SSC CGL job means Assistant in Railway ministry-that is group “B” job.
Group “D” in government jobs mean the bottom most peon’s job. earlier we had class 1, 2, 3, 4 system. now it is replaced with group A,B,C,D system at central level.

@chandresh…wait for max one month..and u vl get the cut off…and I think u did not appear in competition that why u r saying this..see in tier one paper was tough even than the cut of general gone 96 from 82 ..see the change..and English and maths was damn easy this time..my friends who got last time 230 total this time he is getting 422..see the change..last time I got 240 but this time crossed 360..got it..and I am agn saying that cut off will be more than 400 for general…wait and watch..

You r right nav that i didn’t appear in the exam coz having far far better job than SSC since last 05 yrs.
But one thing I can assure you that cut-off will not be hiked more than 40 marks whatever the standard of paper and dont forget that you n ur friend might have worked hard this yr n dats y u r getting marks, it doesnt mean that cut-off will go beyond 400. dont underestimate ur hard work yar.

one thing more…that tax assistant comment was written by me due to mistake…I wanted to write auditor..but there is no option of delete..
thats wat I wanted to say that with 355-360 may b d cutoff for auditor not TA.

just take a special interview class in MAHENDRA’S or in any other reputed institute. Because only one thing i can say about yourself you will get dignified rank in the merit list, and about job there is nothing but GREEN SIGNAL for u.
