Purpose of this page
- I see people keep posting doubts/queries regarding SSC 2014 hallticket, in recent articles. But their comments get scattered = less chances of getting help from others.
- Therefore, I’ve created this page. You may post your queries and help others solve their queries- regarding SSC CGL 2014 tier 1 exam. It’ll be held on 19th and 26th October.
- If any doubt on exam center address, please first search google maps, still no help then post doubt in comments below.
- This time also, SSC allotted random centres. Delhi candidates given hall tickets to Rajasthan center and so on. So, you may also coordination for lodging, accommodation, Vehicle pooling, joint-travel plans etc. in comments as well.

SSC hallticket “search” by name doesn’t work
on those official websites, if you try to search your registration id/roll number but if it doesn’t work then,
Enter 4 character or youur name without surname and DOB – it will work.
Bad Quality Photo/Signature
In case the scanned photograph(s) is not clear, invigilators are required to verify the identity of the Candidates with reference to the photo ID Proof and get colour photographs pasted on the Commission‘s copy of Admission Certificate and/or on Attendance Sheet as the case may be.
Accordingly, candidates should bring passport size colour photographs (two photographs for each session).
No entry without id-proofs
Candidates must carry at least one photo bearing IDENTITY PROOF in original such as Driving Licence, Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, Identity Card issued by University/College, Income Tax Pan Card to the examination center, failing which THEY SHALL NOT BE ALLOWED TO APPEAR FOR THE EXAMINATION.

Official Facebook Update: Call letters for CGL- 14 for NWR have been sent by post but due to holidays these may reach in next 3- 4 days. On website, these will be available within 2 days as we are resolving problem of shifting of candidates of 2- 3 centres.

Most bogus, because they’ve uploaded a very large PDF file of 5566 pages(!), very difficult to download on slow speed internet. and they claim to upload halltickets soon.

I have seen on irctc website only one train is available dat is 12139 sewagram which is slip route train…..
in such a diwali season its very difficult to get the reservation too….
Seriously guys u hav to give 3 days if u want to give ur exam at chandrapur otherwise it would be very hectic and tiredsome to manage in 1 or 2 days ….
I hav seen all the possible ways to return on the sam day but its far from possible to get the reservation and even timing also dosen’t match for evening batch
Its possible for morning batch to return on the same day as they can catch the train from nagpur……
There are travels available from near nagpur bus stands which starts from early morning or even st buses are available… some of the travels also go to chadrapur.. you can enquire by calling the travel agents for timings of the buses..
they go via wardha road even if some are comming to nagpur via airways the airport is located on the wardha road itself they can come to chatrapati square to catch the bus for chandrapur…
travel distance is about 3 to 4 hr….sometimes even less than that in the morning time…..
Guys the main hurdle is reservation due to diwali season…
Where to stay cheap and safe: lodges are available near st bus stand and Gandhibag…
Gandhibag is near to railway station…
Beaware of autorikshaws in nagpur…
if in mumbai for auto fare of 30rs = nagpur they can charge upto 90rs or even more than dat…
Ask the near by panpatti walas they can tell you from where you can catch sharing auto rikshaw
they are as cheap as 20rs compared to Rs 100 or Rs 120…….

my friend told me tukum is about 5 to 10 minutes from chandrapur bus stand , i hav also cross checked on goolge map it is showing near to bus stand…even my center is in tukum on 19th..
i have never gone to chandrapur thats why i don’t know much about lodging or any hotels..

Help Required
Hey Friends!
Applied for two posts mentioned in corrigendum by SSC allowing candidates upto age 30 for mainly 2 posts CBI SI and in ED.
NOW,
While downloading call latter for Delhi, though it provides roll number but says OVERAGE ISSUE.
My name does not appear in either rejected or VALID candidates.
Please suggest a way out.
SSC will issue new admit cards within few days for age relaxed candidates .
Source- Some of my friends went to SSC Delhi CGO complex related to this issue. SSC officials assured them .
But u can also send ur request to ur regional office.
overage issue has been solved for northern region i have downloaded my hall ticket just now i had given the centre dehradun n they have alloted me tughlaqabad village delhi on 26th check out on the sscnr.net.in. hope now it can be downloaded now

Chandigarh ssc will upload admit card within 2-3 days and they r also sending cards by post.

shaam ko jan shatabdi se haridwar pahuch jao, station k passs kafi hotel hain . morning mein auto se wahi se jwalapur ka auto mil jayega 10-15 minute mein pahucha dega.

travelling options from Mumbai to chandrapur-1)direct train from CST to chandrapur-sewagram express but booking is full and its very risky to go for tatkal ticket,2)train from CST to Nagpur and then from Nagpur station to chandrapur the travelling time is 3hrs roads are good and frequency of private buses and state transport buses are also good and also trains from Nagpur to chandrapur,3)nandigram express from CST to warora or hinganghat or sewagram and from there to chandrapur by bus,4)direct private buses from panvel,pune,thane to chandrapur are also available,there are several budget hotels near chandrapur railway station
Why There is no notification on official site ssc.nic.in and only on regional web site sscnr.net .in. Are the admit cards coming by post or not.

1. I don’t see Orissa in any of the ssc regional sites (someone give me the link of the Orissa website)
2. No status regarding dates in Orissa
3. Orissa has an “Orissa staff selection commission” … http://www.odishassc.in/… However I feel this is local Orissa state recurrent body and not the SSC

Yes solved. Problem is getting region wise, commonly asking name, DOB for roll no.

Suppose Delhi belongs to central region you can find the website in Mrunal sir article
search and follow what they asking then put 1 by 1 and keep trying appropriately
you will get.

Is there anyone with center alwar (rajasthan)? I am from delhi, center allotted is alwar. Though it is not very far away, but on 19th october there will be a problem of returning back as there will be huge rush so buses will not be available very easily, or else one has to come back without any seat.
Those who are going to alwar, we can make a group so that if buses are not available, we can hire a taxi up to delhi. It will cost between 1500-2000 so for a group of 4-5 persons it will be around 400-600.

i have a question why is SSC changing the exam centres? & if they wanted to allot the centres by their own choice then why did they ask in application form, same has happened in case of exam for Central Police on 22 june 2014.
will SSC keep on repeating such things? can the candidates do anything about this ? Mrunal Sir if you can help on this would be much appreciated

I have a clash between the SSC CGL Tier-1 and IBPS PO examinations. Both the exams are on 19th Oct and at the same time slot 1:30 and 2 PM. Is it possible to change the time slot, if not the date? What should be the course of action?
I tried calling IBPS and they asked me send an email so that they can look into it. SSC’s numbers are either invalid or unanswered.
I am sure some of you are also facing similar issues.
