Job bond system applies in United India AO
- In case any candidate is still unaware: United India insurance AO job requires you to sign a bond for four years, otherwise damages equivalent to 1 year’s salary, will have to be paid.
- + If you resign within probation period, you’ll have to pay additional 25,000 rupees as damages.

The worst part was descriptive..we need to type the answers..
candidates who are weak at typing may not complete the paper..and moreover thinking was also difficult,bcoz half of the concentration was on typing..
some students forgot to click save and next for the last attempted question..
so technically they answered 2 questions out of 3..
As far as I know, the answers will be auto saved, so they will be counted as 3/3.
No, that won’t be a problem. It was written in the detailed notification that program will automatically save whatever you have written before closing.

That’s not true my friend because I did forget to press save and next option on letter writing as I was busy correcting spelling mistakes at the last moment and when the exam finished I saw total number of question attempted =2

yes I agree but in exam handout they have mentioned clearly that we need to attend 3 x 10=30

Rahul bhai i had written the letter but could not save it. At the end it showed only 2 attempted out of 3 questions. So what does it mean.
I think no yaar..coz if u have checked the last page,i mean no.of questions attempted, in descriptive section it shows only those u have clicked for save and next..even though if u have attempted the 3rd question,but didnt click save and next..in the summary page u can see that only 2 questions attempted..My friend encountered this prob..
Not really, you have to click save and next. The programme will take into consideration whatever you have saved even if you don’t submit. For those who forgot to click save and next it showed answered 2 not answered 1
As ibps conducted the exam online so the questions were similiar to those like any other exams in the reasonin but the difficulyy level was easier than sbi po. Questions were on I/P,floor arrangement,circular arrangement,inequaloties,syllogism,statement n conclusion,couse of action blood relation etc.In quants DI part was also easy but lenghty calculations, 3 DI were there with I think 15 questions other were fr arithmetic part like ratio,speed distance,profit loss etc.In english grammer mistake,jumbled sentence,fill in the blanks,comprehension were there.IN GS mostly current affairs with span of 6 months was there.Question on where G 20 summit held,vinod rai book award related quwstion and rest mostly finance related particularly to insurance was there. Sport related 3questions were also there.Few questions were vry easu by most were moderate. in computer literacy too easy question like which is I/p device,what is ms word-which is nt secondary storage were asked.Combining all,reasonin n quants were time takig and rest part can be easily managed.I attempted 135 questions of which 30 in reasonin,25 in quant n rest from other sections.In descriptive type 3 questionss were there 1 essay in 250 words on types of instruments in insurance or measures taken by gov to enhance insurance penetration or fdi of 49% in insurance sector. 2 question was preci in 150 wrds n 3 question was a letter writng otwoformal letter or one informal topics.Main thing is one has to write fron keyboard in the space provided for answers which reduces the speed of writing n increases typing error.I attempted all 3 questions in descriptive type.

Is there anybody who couldn’t reach the exam centre due to the flash bus strike?
Desciptive test had 3 questions-
1. 250 word essay on any of these – Impacts of FDI in Insurance, Types of Insurance fraud, Measures of Insurance penetration in India
2. Precis writing
3. Letter writing – one on damage to car, ban on ragging etc
Objective test was moderate…Sections like reasoning, quant+ computer literacy , english were easy relative to other bank exams..General Awareness section questions were pretty good..like most of them covered recent schemes- Sansad Gram Yojana, Kisan Vikas patra,etc..Recent alliances and amalgamations within financial sector were also covered.
I opted for AO in Finance- the section which tested proffessional knowledge had sufficient standard questions relating to the core subject-Accounting standards, entries, buy-back limits, changes in company Law 2013, IFRS, etc…
In short easy paper wrt all common sections and moderate in my core subject…
Very tough exam. the toughest part was reasoning and quant.. Descriptive as pathetic…. i think cut off will be around 125….

For descriptive answers we have to type all that. hall was filled with typing sounds. didnt expect this typing at all.
i found paper very tough, spl reasoning. i attempted 160 out of 200
Paper was easy. ButQA portion needs hard practice due to time constraint.

personal suggestion would be not to go for it. Trust me,the moment your training finishes,the only thing u’re gonna be thinking from then on wud b the 5 lakh bond and how to get out of this mess.
Nevertheless,reasoning is simpler than the banks. Cgl level. Gk last year was pretty basic even for unprepared folks like me. Overall try making things balanced. Sectional cutoff myt b a bummer. The only concern u shud have is ur descriptive part,cos a lot of guys with decent prep lost out there.
AM please elaborate if you are aware of the job profile, work conditions, institutional climate etc?

I missed the whole exam as I could wake up to catch train on time but if I had known of these “bond” portion I probably never had filled the form
i managed to reach the engg college (center)…located at NH2…but failed to make entry into exam hall bcz reached at 10.00am and reporting time was 9.15am……. feeling very frustated and angry…. main reason for this failure was INTENSE FOG with 0% VISIBILITY at HIGHWAY………………………….. aaj ka din hi kharab gya…….

ques related to financial awareness were very easy, even single reading on concepts can help.
Computer section hell easy.age old ques. of function keys,ctrl+V, i/o device , processor.
Special tip =
Quant – Do visit DI section in IBPS PO and these exams, coz unlike SBI PO hey are hell easy. Even more easy then simplification ques. If concept of ratio is clear you can do them in very less time as compared to them.
Reasoning – you could do all 50 ques. if time permits. really easy and moderate when compared to SBI.
Syllogism and inequalities can help clear sectional even if this is your problem area.
Simple sitting arrangements.
practice from RS agarwal this chapter and every exam becomes easy(ditto ques. of cars-people-colour combination, ditto ques of floor-people combo, ditto ques of 8 people circle(in-out)).
English – Don’t know for hindi background, but again this is easy.
Descriptive exam – I don’t know how people from rural background, or rare access to computers will match up with this one. You have to TYPE answers on system. This was first time i saw in any exam. Need not worry,if your typing is even average you can do it.
Don’t worry about saving answers as such, they automatically save it as you type.

The general awareness had the elements of finance that is obvious questions like…. 1) which company setup the largest 120 m high wind power turbine in gujrat? 2) first state to have 100% financial inclusion 3)kvp doesnt come in which denomination 500,1000,10000,50000 4)chemical and finance minister after the cabinet reshuffle

A.Computer Literacy:No major areas.Ques were pretty generic in nature.Following are the ques which I remember:

3.b letter about some insurance claim.Didnt even read it.Ques itself was of 5 lines.
3.c Letter to editor regarding some ongoing jhol in blood banks.
I did letter & essay properly.Couldn’t do precis due to paucity of time.People from rural areas who do not
use PC on daily basis may find this to b a bit tough coz u only have 30 minutes.
This paper does have sectional cut-off.
I recently started preparing for these exams & this was my first ever IBPS paper & I have attempted 94 ques
in all.Not sure if its gonna be enuf but overall I am pretty much satisfied with my attempt.Need to improve
on quant n reasoning big time but that will come with practice.Those who have been in business for a while
may find this paper to be slighlty easy(Just an opinion).
It would be great if those who appeared cud tell their total attempt.

this story started in 1969 when 14 banks get nationalized ,and then in 1980 ..6 more bank gets nationalized..but in 1993 new bank of India merge with pnb,so it means 19 nationalized bank exist now…..but after 1980 every bank came is already nationalized(e.g the case of BMB ..it is by default nationalized we don’t have to make it nationalized )……………
