UPSC is yet to divulge information related to cutoff marks and official answerkey but hope it’ll happen soon because the exam process is finally over so RTI-stonewalling unlikely to work.

Congratulations !!
I must admit your scores in GS and essay are really impressive. Especially in essay. A few more marks in the first optional paper and you would have sailed into the 300 odd ranking.

i qualified pre … but in mains i failed in language paper couldn’t get other papers evaluated… got 75 in marathi n 91 in english.. n passing marks r 25% in each…
i am nt able to uderstand this… any one with same criticality….

Hi Sachin. I also failed in language paper. I got 77 marks in Hindi. No, the passing mark for regional languages was not 25% but 30%, that is 90 marks. And for English it was 25% that is 75 marks. Hard luck! I am also pissed because of this. But such is life.
PS – this time, the passing marks has been kept at 25% . So, chill.
Are there other casualties like me? I got 86 in the Indian language paper.
What’s even more frustrating that they don’t disclose the marks of other subjects of such candidates.

Is there any way of finding out the roll no. from the RID? I have lost the print out of my admit card and just realised I don’t have the soft copy too? I know, very careless, but any leads would be appreciated :)

I think the cut off this year prelims is going to be around 110….and each wrong mark is gonna matter so much……atleast they could have informed scrapping of csat last year…:(
Yes completely agree with you…cutoff would be around 110-120 for general category….every negative mark hampers the chances of qualification to mains…
