Detailed Analysis and Topicwise Answerkeys with explanations (for all sets), coming soon.
- You’re most welcome to provide your inputs, answers, observation, analysis and experience in the comments below.
- If you want to discuss then discuss MCQs, (and not cut-offs.) Everyone who had prepared sincerely, and did not risk too much negative marking, he/she has a fair chance of clearing prelims.
- Internet user sample size too short to make any predictions. So don’t lose blood pressure, if Mr.X, Y or Z says he ticked more MCQs than you.

what about bio-toilet answer …plz tell me if you kno
A collection of anaerobic “bacteria” that has been adapted to work at temperatures as low as -5°C and as high as 50°C act as inocula (seed material) to the bio-digesters and convert the organic human waste into water, methane, and carbon-dioxide. The anaerobic process inactivates the pathogens responsible for water-borne diseases and treats the fecal matter without the use of an external energy source.
Gas = Methane+CO2 not Ammonia+WaterVapour.
bio toilet ans- none
CH4 is emitted not NH3
bacteria is used not fungus
BioToilets
Ans. Both statements wrong
Reason – Bacterium innoculum NOT fungal; End products – methane & water
U can check it in PIB or DRDO site
in wiki its 10 cm or less
+1
Since the option is 1m or less, technically it should be correct. The actual range however is approx 20cm(which is definitely less than 1m) depending upon the RFID

Vaji Ram uploaded Key with explanations.
I am securing 136 marks….
How reliable is Vaji Ram ???
Is there any chance for me ?
I am attempting UPSC first time, no idea about mains exam, syllabus, difficulty level. From where to start ?
What criteria should be opted for Subject/Optional ? I am jack of all but king of none. Plz suggest
Very difficult to clear prelims with 136. Cutoff will be at least 140.
Don’t worry about mains bro. Just go back to studying for prelims of next year,
No it is not enough. Don’t even think about preparing for mains. Just read this message board, almost everyone has got more than 125, so you have no chance!!
136 pe nahi hoga tera. 110 aa rahe hain toh ho jayega
This guy reminds me of Chatur in 3 idiots.
Old ncert history ki kha milagi plz rply

NFC technology is now common in every Sony devices ..smartphones, TV,blutooth etc. It is required to touch both devices to establish connection. So only option 3 is correct.
@Nikhil tumhare kitne aa rahe hain……..mere 110-114 ke beeche mein aa rahe hain….mera prelims clear hone k kya chance hain….

yes, hope for the best. If cut for 2014 pre was only 205, including CSAT which was supposed to be scoring. In CSAT people used to score more than 120. 33% criteria was still there(minimum 70 marks was needed). So, there are chances.
Bhai mera 94 arya hai but csat 65 arya hai.bahut Dar lag raha hai.OBC cat.
Please zaldi reply karo
86 obc, chances?
Mr. Dwivedi ji nice to heard that you scored 136 marks but is it tru ?

Scoring 86 as per Sriram and 93 as per Chanakya keys….General candidate….I think if people start putting their clear unbiased marks category wise then we ourselves can arrive at expected cutoff….as no one is certain about cutoffs at this juncture…. just dont befool others and yourself guys…..start putting ur scores
bhai log to negative marking me deduction hi galat kar rahe hain. i saw this in a fb page.e.g. 20wrong question pe 20/3 minus kar rhe hain hona chaiye 20*2/3
