Hi mrunal . there is one doubt regarding the question govt. of India act 1919 . all keys (except one) have mentioned ans b . now no doubt gg act 1919 established diarchy in provinces leading into transferred and reserved subjects. But we were told ,also mentioned on page 6 of did bash that the subjects transferred were by mere ‘delegation of powers’ and not devolution which means the viceroy had veto even on the transferred subjects(page 7 basu) .result being that there was virtually no jurisdiction of provincial govt and real jurisdiction came by 35 act ,nor was it CLEAR as few years after nationalists accused br. of befooling the people through this trick and their demand for a review commission (later simon) became more vociferous. I may be wrong but I think upsc has tried to tickle the students becoz every one knows subjects were transferred and all shall go for b. I feel the correct should be d

Tell me one thing if you dont prepare for mains at this moment and qualified for mains, what will the result- nill and remorse and anger on yourself
and if you prepare for mains and qualified for mains what will the result- optimistic chances
if you prepare for mains and don’t qualified for mains what will the result- your base will become solid and will help you next year.
So frnd just prepare for mains, most likely cutoff will be low.

itne mein to nahi ho raha….next year ki tayari karo aur is baar vaalo ka competition kam karo….
The logic that making Paper 2 just qualifying would increase cuttoffs is ridiculous. Ideally anyone who has scored above 100 would in all likelihood would have scored another 100 for sure in Paper 2 in 2014. Since 204 was cutoff and considering that 110 to be the near min achievable marks in paper 2 the cutoff would have been somewhere between 95-100. So this year this cut off should ideally go down, Considering the fact that paper was more tricky than last year. So Guys everyone who has scored over 90 should stand a fair chance.
