Close to the Equator itself is an eastward-flowing current, the Equatorial Counter Current. This exists because the Trade Winds drive water to the western Pacific, where it is blocked by land masses. Sea surface rises westward (due to the wind stress), so in the area of light winds near the Equator (The Doldrums), water is able to flow back eastwards.

Do not worry about it even a bit…you need produce the latest certificate at the time of interview only…till then take a chill pill…I last year did not even provided it with mains application…

You have to prepare for mains sooner or later, so Finish mains preparation by December even if some of you could not clear pre.This will not only help you on focussing in prelim better(next year without worrying about optional) and increase probability of your success.

ans to westerlies question would be both 1 nd 2 coz they are knwn as Furious Fifties ,Screaming Sixties etc in southern hemisphere nd to “eastward flow of eq. counter current” would be convergence as there is no coriolis force at eq. to deflect them.

Cyclone wale question me it is asked about tropical latitudes , n in both d hemisphere in eastern part cold currents are there n in both hemispheres ITCZ tropical latitudes tak shift hota hi h ….. n low sea temp hota h due to absence of land. What do u guys think ?

Do what your inner soul suggesting you.Take a pause and think a while about your actual passion(i mean not pseudo passion guided by external environment).If you are getting answer that I this is the thing I will enjoy most in life then nobody can stop you ( even parents)as this passion itself carries a great force.No need to confront with parents, relatives as it will create negative energy surrounding your mind and further frustration.Let them speak any thing just give them smile and train mind to focus on goal.Keep your mental environment positive by adding quality people, friends.Lastly don’t think about results just ensure study satisfied you or not.One year is to go ample time is there streamline preparation. What maximum will happen if you fail? Does anybody will take your life? No na….just blind eye to them who are intruders and give them god blessings. ..best luck
