- Internet user sample size too short to make any predictions. So don’t lose blood pressure, if Mr.X, Y or Z says he ticked more MCQs than you.

last few days i have been extensively going through cutoffs predicted by mates, round the web, have used every statistical tool , that mankind provides. and the cutoff for general is 98 dot something. surely friends on this wonderful forum can differ on that.
also mrunal sir, happy teachers day, u have been a light on my coasts.
President of India can be impeached only on the violation of constitution……..if he violates it the parliament which initiates the impeachment procedure……however for a federal setup one needs the written set of rules to avoid conflicts Thus the constitution…..for its interpretation one needs independent system I.e., judiciary……..thus it is the judiciary which is the final interpreter of constution……..moreover these rules(constitution) are monitored by a head in this case constitutional head i.e., president of India…….president acts as monitor leader protector of the constitutional rules……when it is broken he will take the lead to restore the lost order(ex-:emergency) Supreme Court steps in only when there is a conflict In the interest of constitution……as president forms the part of executive of Union he cannot interpretate the constitution And leaves this to SC…….more over CJI is appointed by president but not vies versa……..thus logical conclusion is PRESIDENT OF INDIA IS ACTUAL CUSTODIAN OF CONSTITUTION AND SC IS INTERPRETATER OF Indian constitution
According to the Dictionary, Guardian and Custodian mean the same thing. Infact, Custodian is the synonym of Guardian. Please check Laxmikanth’s book on Polity, Pg. No. – 25.5 . It clearly states that “Supreme Court is also the final interpreter and GUARDIAN of the Constitution and guarantor of the fundamental rights of the citizens of India.” I hope your doubt is clear now.
laxmikant is not an authetic source..the thing is that the president takes the oath of to preserve, protect and defend the constitution n law which is not taken by SC judges..this can be checked in 3rd schedule
The Supreme Court is the custodian of the Constitution of India and the higher judiciary has played a crucial role in supporting the separation of powers, an important feature of our democracy. Among the countervailing forces of the legislature, the executive and the judiciary, the last has protected its freedom most jealously and zealously, and urged the other two to stay in line. Besides, with progressive judgments on a diversity of issues, the high courts and the Supreme Court have shouldered the work of the other two pillars of democracy when they flagged in their efforts. When the legislature has failed to frame laws in keeping with public needs, the courts have wanted to know the reason. When the government has failed to act on those laws, the courts have reminded it of its duty. Indeed, the courts have been custodians even of the freedoms which have created a flourishing press in India. Perhaps no other democracy has owed so much to its judiciary, which has served as a compass in choppy political seas, reminding its leadership of who they are, laying down lines that cannot be crossed and deepening the meaning of democracy itself. And so, when the chief justice of India publicly endorses the prime minister, it causes some unease. Justice H.L. Dattu has declared Narendra Modi to be “a good leader, good human being and a man with foresight and one who wants good governance”. Perhaps these observations were made in good faith, to be read as one man’s private opinion. It would have been better if it had been kept that way. The CJI went on to add that relations between the judiciary and the government have been cordial during his tenure, which continues until December. But Justice Dattu’s remarks come at a time when there is debate — and disquiet — about the proposed National Judicial Appointments Commission, which would wrest the right to appoint judges from the judiciary. The move could be challenged in the Supreme Court, which he presides over. In the courtroom, the CJI has been just, and been seen to be just. His judgment in the course of the 2G trials, for instance, had laid down the precedent that bail is a right and withholding it the exception. With all respect, his statement, made in a forum where it was bound to be reported, only revalidates the old principle that judges should communicate only through their judgments. – See more at: http://indianexpress.com/article/opinion/editorials/with-due-respect-2/#sthash.KJR27SGw.dpuf

Guardian
The guardian of a minor child fulfills the role of a substitute parent. The guardian maintains physical and legal custody of the child, helps the child with daily tasks and makes financial and medical decisions on the child’s behalf. When choosing a guardian, make certain the person you choose is comfortable with the appointment. In most jurisdictions, the court must approve the choice of guardian in the event both parents die or are unable to care for the child. If both parents die and did not leave a will or appoint a guardian, the court will appoint one for the children. If one parent dies naming someone other than the surviving parent as guardian, the court can override the appointment if it is in the child’s best interests.
Custodian
A custodian is also appointed by will, but serves a different role than the guardian. The custodian is responsible for managing, overseeing and protecting any inheritance received by a minor child until the child reaches an appropriate age. If no age is provided in the will, the custodian can release the assets when the child turns 18, 21 or 25, depending on the jurisdiction. Some wills require the custodian to wait until the child is older or a specific event occurs, such as the child’s college graduation. The same person can serve as custodian and guardian.
SO SC IS CUSTODIAN..
nice research…
but think on these two statements :
guardian of public purse — CAG
custodian of public purse — Finance minister..
So going by the same logic president would be the custodian… I may also be wrong..
GOD…………..” D” option hi sahi nikle…………….
Don’t bring God into it.
he didnt make the Constitution, The Supreme court or the President
we made it!
