I am actually averse to the idea of joining any coaching institute. But have to join some test series to be disciplined. I will look for Synergy’s notes in the market.
I am quite scared of essay and ethics paper. I missed the final call by a margin in 2013 because of these two papers. This is my second attempt. Don’t want to take any risk.

Answer of westerlies qus. Shud be both 1 &2. Because due to western disturbances in winter the winds come to tibbat plateu,and tibbatian plateu still exists beyond 30° (from atlas).so answer shud be both 1& 2

As such it is not mandatory to read these but if you have time you can…. if not you can read recommendation. If short of time you just be regular with newspaper that will suffice

President takes oath to protect the constitution..infact other dignitaries like governor also take same oath..president acts on aid and advice of council of ministers..so he has no real powers..sometimes he acts on such an advice in a manner that leads to violation of constitution..like some instances have happened when president promulgated an ordinance on advice of com which posed a threat to basic structure..like federal issues or other guarantees..so here finally it is supreme court which prevails and through judicial review protects ethos of the constitutional spirit..when president did not hear mercy pleas for a long time it was finally the supreme court which came foreward and gave liberal interpretation to right to life guaranteed by our constitution..so in some manner if those who had pending mercy pleas for such a long time,were hanged,it was grave violation of Indian constitution..and who was responsible if such thing happened..may be president..then supreme court came forth and secured justice..there are many other things also..so it is supreme court that is custodian of the constitution..upsc does what,they ask simple question and students start applying research level logics..some are interpreting word “custodian”.. Some are comparing our constitutional schemes with other countries..they try to justify exception by ignoring general thing..this is all cuz of coaching institutions which teach you mbbs level biology,engineering level physics,Research Level histories,geography..judiciary level constitution..and students follow them..upsc asks simple thing,apply simple straight knowledge..even new students who are beginners might have made this simple question correct but those who queue up outside teachers rooms of coaching centres after class might have got it marked wrong..excess knowledge kills as there is no limits to it..every thing can be debated..
hey aditi..only upsc answer keys will tell us which is right whether president or sc Dont bring coaching institutes in it they dont teach as good as u r thinking..most of the coachings institutes r of substandard..
