SSC CGL 2014 Postponed to second half of 2014
Background: Earlier, SSC Combined Gradulate Level exam (CGL 2014) was to be held on 27th April and 4th May 2014.
- But now SSC has decided to postpone this exam.
- This exam will be held in second half of 2014 (Meaning July or afterwards)
Why? Because
- On 27th April: SSC has to hold 2013’s re-exam. [and many of 2013’s player would have re-applied for 2014’s cycle as well.]
- General election. =>
- many sarkaari school/colleges will be used for storing & counting EVM = can’t spare them as exam centre
- All police occupied on election-duty=> hence cannot focus on Nakal-Mafia of Gangetic plains.

Background: 2013’s exam cycle was caught in paper-leak and subsequent court cases. SSC will be holding re-examination, re-exam ONLY for candidates who had given 2013’s T1 or T2 on following centres

mrunal sir…i appeared in Tier-1 in CGLE-13 from new delhi..but could not clear tier1..will i be allowed to appear in the reexamination..??

Will there be a new cutoff or the cutoff declared as before…and if last cutoff(96) is considered as cutoff then what will be the point of conducting re exam?????

Sir ! I applied for CGL 2014. After completion of part 1 registration, I took print our of challan + Form [incomplete]. Then I completed part 2 registration, but due to certain reasons I was unable to take print out of that Full application. Now, after about 20 days, on 14/3/2014 I tried taking print out, but its saying incorrect info. However I got email confirming my registration. I asked my friend t o login from his account, although he completed the full process but it also showing incorrect info. Now, my question is, how can I take print out of my complete application ?
Is it necessary to have print out or it’s just ok ?

i had filled the form for tier i ssc 2013 from jaipur center but could not appear which was held on 19 may 2013.so now would i be allowed to appear in the exam.
Re exam is for those who have attended the exam and not for those who were absent that day.I hope this make things clear to u

MRUNAL THE NOTIFICATION BY SSC SAYS THOSE WHO CLEARED THE TIER-1 EXAM OF CGL-2013 FROM CENTRES MENTIONED FOR RE-EXAM HAVE TO REAPPEAR FOR SAME. BUT IT DID NOT SAY THAT THOSE WHO DID NOT CLEAR THE TIER-1 EXAM CAN ALSO TAKE PART AT THOSE CENTRES.
QUES= I TOOK EXAM FROM LUCKNOW BUT DID NOT CLEAR TIER-1 SO CAN I TAKE THE EXAM AGAIN FOR TIER -1 CGL-2013

My query is unrelated to this post..I have applied for SSC CGL 2014..But when i saw in “view application”…To my shock my graduation percentage was mentioned erroneously…Now that the last date for applying is over..What are my options to rectify it..Can it be rectified at the interview stage…Greatly anticipating a reply from Mrunal Sir or anybody else #Please help
It will create a problem for u at interview stage. Do one thing-
Send a application to regional director (under which region ur exam centre comes). mentioned about ur correct marks + attached attested xerox copy of ur graduation marksheet+ application form print out.
Keep that acknowledgement for ur future use.

for acknowledgement–> take the xerox of your application and u can get online acknowledgement of ur speedpost delivery by postal dept. here is the link for the same-

go to regional office and submit your application by hand and clerk will give u acknowledgement by putting official stamp on the xerox copy .

They(SSC) have not yet given out the dates for the TIER 2 Re Exam. Am I right or Have I missed any notification ?

Hi,
There is no need to panic. Once you get selected, you will have to get your documents verified at your regional SSC headquarters. You can get it rectified there only and if asked, you can always tell them that you have shifted from your prior residence
My tier 1 center was Bharatpur Rajsthan which comes under delhi ncr like faridabad ….. Do Bharatpur venue eligible for re-exam or not sir

You are not required to appear for this re examination
Bharatpur comes under Delhi as well as Jaipur so i think reexam will be there. The names of centres for re exam are given. Hence its all sub centres will be included. I don’t know What logic the person saying not required for re exam is trying to bring out.
are their subcentres like (sikar, bharatpur) both in jaipur) included for reexam?
The logic that i am trying to bring forth is that it is clearly mentioned in the official notification : only those candidates who appeared from the seven centres “IN THE CITIES” are eligible for re examination..for more insight into the logic..you can always contact SSC (Northern region)

it is working fine. it seems u r not filling ur preference in order (i.e. Preference 1- Preference 2-3-4-5 etc )

@CS–> SI to inspector –>approx 2/3 years + ur performance .
People joined CISF because —> UPSC take very few direct recruitment to assistant commandant in CISF. (refer every year AC vacancies).But
UPSC conducts departmental exam of assistant commandant in CISF .Most of the deserving SI /Inspector become Assistant commandant through this way.
