SSC CGL 2014 Postponed to second half of 2014
Background: Earlier, SSC Combined Gradulate Level exam (CGL 2014) was to be held on 27th April and 4th May 2014.
- But now SSC has decided to postpone this exam.
- This exam will be held in second half of 2014 (Meaning July or afterwards)
Why? Because
- On 27th April: SSC has to hold 2013’s re-exam. [and many of 2013’s player would have re-applied for 2014’s cycle as well.]
- General election. =>
- many sarkaari school/colleges will be used for storing & counting EVM = can’t spare them as exam centre
- All police occupied on election-duty=> hence cannot focus on Nakal-Mafia of Gangetic plains.

Background: 2013’s exam cycle was caught in paper-leak and subsequent court cases. SSC will be holding re-examination, re-exam ONLY for candidates who had given 2013’s T1 or T2 on following centres

hello need help I gave exam in delhi fr t1 n cleRed same n wrote t 2 in delhi so what to do? re exam of t2 will be furthur confirmed latr?

some friends are saying that this recruitment is for raw. is it true.
yup.. in some old forum it was mentioned like it associated with RAW.. i am not fully aware of it..
my exam centre in chennai.
and only topic was in the admit card.. like quantitative and general for 50 marks each..
but what is syllabus for that ? and i am not aware of descriptive in quants..

why do they have to appear once again in the tier 1 and tier 2 exam if once they have appeared in 2013??

I have appeared for CGL 2013 tier 1 from Lucknow but could not clear it and now as per notification I will be giving re-exam on 27th april .But I am a bit confused that whether I will be allowed for TIER 2 exam if I clear TIER 1 re-exam to be held on 27th April.

don’t panic the admit card are sent by post as well as uploaded on the website usually 2-3 weeks before the exam

The official notification clearly says that re exam is going to be conducted only in those seven CITIES and not their sub centres

its not subject wise but section wise cut off and there is no such cutoff for any section

i was looking at the SSC TIER-2 Syllabus and in the end, it showed MATHS,STATISTICS,ECONOMICS,COMMERCE.
what is this .?
is it part of TIER-2 Syllabus.
There is no economics and commerce in tier 2..There are only two sittings..first sitting is maths (100 questions) and the second one is english (200 questions)…both are of 200 marks

Hi i appered for tier 1 from lucknow, cleared that and later apperared fot tier 2 from lucknow again. Will i have to write tier 1 again or just tier 2 re-exam.
You will have to appear for both Tier 1 and Tier 2
hello i appeared in cgl 2013 from jodhpur…..and i cleared the tier-1….bt i was unable to go for the tier 2 due to some reasons……and it was in jaipur…now i jst want to know that can i appear for tier 2 re-exam………plz rply me as soon as possible……….

This is glaringly missing in the notification of SSC..But you can drop in your query to the SSC..but here is the unfortunate part..they hardly reply to the queries..however the link is “http://vacancycollection.nic.in/Query/”
I have the same problem…..couldn’t give tier 2….but I have received my admit card by post!
Thank you for this information sir…it will help many aspirants who appeared and qualified in tier 1..but couldn’t take tier 2 (from black listed centres)..since you have received your admit card..it implies all those students who cleared tier 1 but couldn’t appear in tier 2 from those centres will also get a chance in CGL re exam 2013..Thank you once again
