SSC CGL 2014 Postponed to second half of 2014
Background: Earlier, SSC Combined Gradulate Level exam (CGL 2014) was to be held on 27th April and 4th May 2014.
- But now SSC has decided to postpone this exam.
- This exam will be held in second half of 2014 (Meaning July or afterwards)
Why? Because
- On 27th April: SSC has to hold 2013’s re-exam. [and many of 2013’s player would have re-applied for 2014’s cycle as well.]
- General election. =>
- many sarkaari school/colleges will be used for storing & counting EVM = can’t spare them as exam centre
- All police occupied on election-duty=> hence cannot focus on Nakal-Mafia of Gangetic plains.

Background: 2013’s exam cycle was caught in paper-leak and subsequent court cases. SSC will be holding re-examination, re-exam ONLY for candidates who had given 2013’s T1 or T2 on following centres

- Patna
- Allahabad
- Delhi
- Jaipur
- Shimla
- Dehradun

I have given tier1 exam of CGL-2013 from patna center but was not qualified for tier2. Am i eligible or not for the re-examination.

hello sir i want to know that i had given the ssc cgl 2013 exam on 19th of may but i had not cleared it so, i wanted to make sure that whether the candidates who had not cleared the exam are eligible to give the exam or only passing candidates who had cleared the exam are eligible to give it.

if a person does not appear again in cgl 2013(delhi center).. will the previous “attempt” be counted as an attempt?

I need to know regarding SSC-CGL 2013, that if a person is appeared in Tier-1 from selected re-examination centres and haven’t qualified the Tier-1 itself. Were those candidates also allowed to take the re-exam?

in notice regarding re exam cgl 2013 there is clearly mentioned that ” if u appeared tier1 from these centres and cleared tier-1 then u will b eligible for tier2………plz read notice carefully mr.chandradev…..dont misguide

MY CENTRE WAS DEHRADUN FOR TIER 1 EXAM IN 2013. BU I WAS NOT QUALIFIED. SO CAN I STILL GIVE THIS EXAM? .when will be admit card given?

if u appeared in these listed centres for tier-1 and not qualified tier-1 then u r out of competition of cgl 2013
it means if appeared for tier 1 whether these listed centres or other centres and not cleared tier 1 then u r not eligible for tier2………plz refer notice regarding re exam cgl 2013…
My tier 1 centre was roorkee and tier 2 centre was new delhi.what about me??
You have to give only T2 re exam.

I am from Kerala currently staying in Delhi and I have applied for CGL 2014. For GK I need to buy used CBSC books. I tried a lot at Cannaut Plaza but only new books are available. Anybody pls help me where in Delhi or NCR region I can get old CBSC books at cheap rate.

No absentees will not be eligible for appearing in re-exam.Only qualified and disqualified candidates of these 7 cities.
As Lucknow is also among the 7 cities..you will have to appear for Tier1 again..and if you clear it you will be eligible for Tier2.
