Request: share your exam experience
RBI Grade B officer (Preliminary) exam was held on August 3, 2014 (Sunday) in two sessions. But since this exam is to be conducted online=>difficult for next years’ aspirant to find “previous question” papers. Therefore, I request all the readers, to share following data AFTER exam is over, in the comments below.
- What was the Span of current affairs latest and oldest topic asked in General Awareness?
- How much PIN (persons in news?) by the way, PIN-2014 series has been uploaded long time back. in case you missed, go to https://mrunal.org/current#pin
- General idea on “topicwise breakup” – in general awareness. How much economy (budget related), how much banking sector related and so on. Did they ask computer awareness in it?
- How tough was English section compared to SBI PO and CSAT?
- How tough / lengthy was Maths/DI section compared to other exams. Did they ask chillar questions like profit loss, or was it entirely focused on lengthy data interpretation as in SBI PO? what was the overall breakup?
- Reasoning section: did they ask high level reasoning like syllogism, assertion-reasoning, course of action etc?
- Other observations about pattern, trend, wisdom, tips for future aspirants.

NEFT — there is no upper or lower limit… Means any amount

But there is a bank limit on NEFT, unless permitted otherwise through due process, of Rs.4,00,000 per day or something depending on the bank you are being serviced by.

my exam was on 3rd august evening sitting..my overall exam experiance says just stick to strategy that provided by mrunal.that is enough for clearing first stage..i started preparation on 3rd july 2014,so i had hardly 1 month for preparation. si i did’nt had enough time for study and practice, but i can say at least i reached on verge to qualify first stage. now come to type of question that has been asked in exam. in economy section questions were very easy compare to last year..in quant section only thing that i would suggest is to practice practice..english section was very easy..just practice previous year banking exam paper..last reasoning section, if you really want to crack first stage, u really need to give at least 5 hr daily for 40 days to this section,then you will be able to get good marks in this section and that will be decisive factor in your selection…. i attempted 127 question with study of just 25 days. if i will be not selected for first stage,then only due to reasoning section ..so i will strongly suggest just follow strategy of mrunal..
