New development: You can’t change Optional-Subject, exam-Centre,, Indian Language paper (Paper-A) and Answer Medium. You’ll have to stick to whatever you choices made in the prelims application form. (Ref: Instruction PDF file, page no. 3.)
- Last date is 11th November. MAKE NO HASTE in filling this form. Thoroughly read the PDF files uploaded on that page.
- Questions-queries post in comments. I request senior players to help others filling up the DAF-form.

Please help: its written in the notification not to sign on the summary sheet( Point# 23 note). But the printed copy of the DAF, asks for sign on every page including summary page.

Its asking if you have completed graduation or not as per indian laws and norms . if yes, you need to attach a acopy of degree certification with your daf while posting it to UPSC

self attested karna hai ya,,gazetted officer se attested krwana hai???
My certificates have been attested by a gazzeted officer but I forgot to self attest them….will it be a problem… please please someone clear my dilemma.

I have problem of my own. I got the stamp cancelled but forgot to mention the name of post office and amount. Will it be problem?
Is it necessary to submit property related documents along with annexure for OBC candidate.
There is one specific entry for this where they have asked “wethere document in support of property description is attached ?”.
They dint mention “mandatory” about this.
Please let me know if some one has any knowledeg about this

I have filled Pub Ed as optional in prelims form of UPSC 2016..but now i dont want to go with it..bcz its a littlr boring nd theoritical subject..now i want to go for Geography for mains…can it be possible to change the subject for main DAF?
I have been preparing for this exam since my PG. I just have 53 days working experience (on contract) in a central government organization. I left because my aim was to achieve this examination and I was of the impression that I was losing time. Should I mention this work experience in my daf or just mention it at time of interview.
