UPSC has uploaded result for CSAT-2014 preliminary exam. 15,008 candidates qualified for the mains exam. Here are the links to download the PDF file containing roll numbers of the successful candidates
Before declaring final result of CSE-2014, UPSC had officially announced the date and time of result declaration. Same way, here too, in the afternoon of Oct-12-2015, UPSC official website mentioned that result will be out at 9PM.

The results of Roll Numbers 0882295, 1000001, 1000002, 1000003, 1000004, 1000005, 1000006, 1000007, 1000008, 1000009, 1000010, 1000011, 1000012, 1000013, 1000014, 1000015, 1000017, 1000018, 1000019, 1000020, 1000021, 1000022, 1000023, 1000024, 1000025, 1000026, 1000027, 1000028 and 1000029 have been withheld on the directions of Hon’ble Central Administrative Tribunals/High Court.

Result for Prelims is always in list. Even the mains result is in list. Even the final result is in list. It is only the marks that are given online. And there was no news from UPSC that result will come on 18th
118 as per shankar…as far i know whoeva has got above 110 have cleared…
Can someone please tell the cut-off for the prelims. I did not clear :'(

i calculated 105 from CL…cleared it. though my friend calculated 108 from vaji he didnt.
is the paper 2 key of vaziram has discrepancies..could anyone throw sm light..!
Scored 108 as per Vajiram key – didnt make it (GC). Bit taken aback frankly with the cut-offs!
May have something to do with the fact that they took in lesser candidates and also because all the 2011 oldies got another crack at it.
Scored 92 in SC category but failed…. Coaching institute were saying it around 100 for general…. It is around 100 for SC category…
Same category. Was getting around 90-92 but did not make it.
I was hoping for 92 marks under SC category. Could not qualified. Missing a lot.
same–95 could nt clear…cut off must be 107 for GC and above 96 for SC..
I cleared the prelims for the first time. This is my third attempt. I am getting 114 and I belong to OBC.

Those who who could not clear, I can understand the pain you feel because I went through that phase 2 times.
Please chalk out a better plan and give your best effort next time.
Always remember when the door of one opportunity closes, another door might be opened for us somewhere else, we should not be wasting time thinking about the closed opportunity.

Best Strategy: For Prelims (even to certain extent Mains) read only NCERT books and The Hindu newspaper and revise it at least 3-times. For mains read from authentic sources only like important govt. websites like PIB, prsindia.org, Yojana, etc. For exams like this you have to equally consider what not to read parallel to what to read. In fact, you don’t need to study any books like Majid Hussain (Geography), DD Basu (Polity), Ramesh Singh (Econ’s livr omy) etc. Just read relevant NCERT portion and update it with The Hindu’s LIVE COVERAGE.

i thnk its imprtnt to have the right material to learn frm. Pls do not spnd ur tym on readng whtevr comes across u. Make sure tht u join fr atleast any one test series. i thnk most test series wud strt frm nxt mnth. Make it a point tht u improve on ur performance aftr evry xam. and above all believe in urself completely or even 101% becoz if u dnt do tht nobody else vl do…

I am a sc candidate, answered only 83. Cleared prelim I think csat was not as easy as seems. Mind ur qualification mark in csat

I belong to OBC category – unfortunately could not qualify in the Prelims this time(2015) – I will be turning 34 years of age next year. Do you have any information on the age limits for UPSC Civil services 2016?
Will the current age limit continue or shall we expect some change?

If there is going to be any reduction, when at the earliest could we get to know about it from any official source – IPSC/DoPT?

interconnect the concepts like when u read stomach read its anatomy, physiology, clinical anatomy , its various disease(pathology ), . It will cover medicine and surgery part simultaneously… Thats what upsc wala want (understanding of topic not memory ) . Once u understand not forgettable . .ever

hai, I have cleared IFoS prelims and the marks i have calculated from various keys is in the range of 132-142. One of my friend with 115 marks didnt manage to clear IFoS… so cut off could be around 125????

I am getting 127 in gs according to 5 different answer keys and 90 in csat acco. to 2 diff. answer keys ……. STILL NOT SELECTED FOR MAINS !!!! everything was filled properly during exam ( roll no / booklet version / centre code etc .) ….. during gs paper invigilators had messed with answersheet distribution and columns to be filled by them …….. I AM AT MY WIT`S END to guess how I am not in…..

I too was expecting 115-120 & 90 but not cleared…. is there any chance that Paper-2 marks have been factored in ?

you shuld visit UPSC…i am also having some concerns over correct evaluation of my answer sheet ,,,i had visted UPSC yestrerday…ther were lots of candidates with some concerns…….although no one get there problem soted out..but we communacted them our concern and filed a RTI also…..you must go there….u can call on nos.01123098591 ext no- 4310
