UPSC has uploaded result for CSAT-2014 preliminary exam. 15,008 candidates qualified for the mains exam. Here are the links to download the PDF file containing roll numbers of the successful candidates
Before declaring final result of CSE-2014, UPSC had officially announced the date and time of result declaration. Same way, here too, in the afternoon of Oct-12-2015, UPSC official website mentioned that result will be out at 9PM.

The results of Roll Numbers 0882295, 1000001, 1000002, 1000003, 1000004, 1000005, 1000006, 1000007, 1000008, 1000009, 1000010, 1000011, 1000012, 1000013, 1000014, 1000015, 1000017, 1000018, 1000019, 1000020, 1000021, 1000022, 1000023, 1000024, 1000025, 1000026, 1000027, 1000028 and 1000029 have been withheld on the directions of Hon’ble Central Administrative Tribunals/High Court.

luck is most important factor other than hard work…i know one person who is appearing in ias-interview for last 3 years continuously but not getting his name in the final list…what else other than luck ??? mind it preparing for 4 long years is no child’s play…he cleared pre this time too..hoping for the best for him

I cleared both Civils and IFoS prelims, all thanks to your wonderful Lecture Series on Economy and Rajtanil’s Geography Module (and Roman Saini’s Environment and Culture video links which I got through your site). Please inform us about whether you would be putting up video lectures for Current affairs for Mains 2015. I know you have already done a lot for us but still a lot of people depend on your guidance. P.S. For those who are still wasting time in speculating cut-offs, I was getting 128 -136 according to IASBaba and ALS Answer key. OBC Category.

Working doctor here (post MD) , cleared first attempt with very scattered preparation. Believe it or not but I still haven’t finished laxmikanth. Still I was pleasantly surprised by how relatively simple the prelims paper was when I finally tallied my score. I have learned to ignore what the coaching waala “experts” tell you and trust in your judgement and go with your gut. Anyway, now the real test begins. My optional is anthropology, and I have barely made a dent in it. I think med sci would probably have been a better choice but its ok. There’s no reason to complain, jo ho gaya so ho gaya. Let’s see what results the main exams bring.

I got 112 but did not pass the exam general category what is the cut off?
I was getting 132 &109 according to vajiram keys, still not cleared, unable to recover from shock.

syllabus is an absolutely redundant aspect of upsc. it should do away with giving syllabus as it hardly matters vis a vis the questions asked. n moreover there is no such formula as to u shud finish laxmikant leong ramesh chandra xyz as it wholly depends on the accuracy of ur gut feeling. tat sums up the UPSC as least the prelims.

try fr bank jobs , ssc , cds , acio, u can try fr state civil service exam of any state(here i dont knw abt north east n j & k ) ..n scroll down ur page till end …der mrunal notifies abt d job vaccany …der u can try … dont loose ur hope …all d best ..
