- 10th January 2016: UPSC conducted the MCQ test for recruitment of 170 APFC in EPFO (Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner in Employees Provident Fund Organization) under Ministry Of Labor And Employment.
- Vacancies: SC-24, ST-14, OBC-54 & UR-78 = 170 post (+8 horizontal reserved for PH).
- 21st March 2016: UPSC result of written stage, and invited 570 candidates for the interview.

- But in the meantime, these 570 must send copy of their documents to UPSC, New Delhi by 5th April 2016. [and bring original docs during interview]
Documents have to be sent (self-attested photocopies only).
- Copy of online application
- Class 10 marksheet/certificate showing your date of birth.
- Original / Provisional Degree certificate + marksheet.
- Work experience certificate
- Caste certificate | Non-Creamy layer certificate | Disability certificate- in prescribed proforma format given on UPSC website’s this link
- Name change /Name spelling mistakes related documents if any
- If already in Government service, then need to show declaration that they’ve informed their HoD.
- Ex-servicemen, J&K domicile related certificate.

no it does not conducted every year.
@Adi: although apfc is a great post, RBI grade b has it’s own charm… Ask any one aspiring for any job in the finance sector and they’ll tell u. I would go with grade b.

Sir plz help me, I got provisionally selected as Bank PO and got Syndicate bank, but currently im employed with New India Assurance and i did not mentioned it during interview, nor i submitted the NOC. Now how shall i resign and what to tell Syndicate bank during submitting relieving letter? will i have to pay any amount to NIA while resigning as im not confirmed but i’v completed my Probation period on 2nd April 2016? plz help
if u r AO, then u have to pay actual pay received till date plus partial cost of training. BTW new india is far better than any bank PO. Think once again before resigning
