In past, UPSC has asked similar question in Mains paper1- “How Indian secularism debate differs from west?”.

Since Modi became Prime Minister, there has been rise in the “intolerance” incidents of right wing vigilantism, cow-vigilantism, hooliganism etc. (at least according to theHindu columnists). So, what are the similarities and dissimilarities between them two. Similarly, in USA, since the rise of Donald Trump, a new type of conservatism has evolved in USA, which is even more radical the mainstream conservatism of Republican party.
