• Sci-Tech: Space Tech: ISRO’s POEM: Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) launched the PSLV Orbital Experimental Module or ‘POEM’.
  • POEM is a platform that will help perform in orbit experiments using the discarded, stage of PSLV rocket.
  • The PSLV is a four-stage rocket where the first three spent stages fall back into the ocean, and the final stage (PS4) — after launching the satellite into orbit — ends up as space junk. (उपग्रह को अवकाश में छोड़ने के लिए PSLV रॉकेट का इस्तेमाल होता है ये रॉकेट चार हिस्से/चरणो/कंपार्टमेंट/खानो में बना होता है । जैसे जैसे ईंधन ख़त्म होता है, एक एक खाना/हिस्सा अग़ल हो के समंदर में गिरता है। हालाँकि चौथा और आख़िरी कंपार्टमेंट ऐसा होता है जिसमें ईंधन ख़त्म होने के बाद वो अवकाश में ही कबाड़ी-कचरे के रूप में घूमते रहता है, इसरो का ‘पोयम’ प्लेटफ़ोम ये चाहता है कि केसे इस चौथे हिस्से को अवकाश में ही स्थापित करके उसकी मद्दद से कुछ और अवलोकन/उपग्रह/स्पेश-स्टेशन जेसा काम करवाया जा सके)

(पारंपरिक रूप से वैसे तो वैक्सीन /टिके में ऐसा विषाणु वायरस डाला जाता है जो या तो निष्क्रिय हो चुका है या तो कमज़ोर हो चुका है. हालाँकि mRNA आधारित वैक्सीन में कोई विषाणु नहीं होता बल्कि शरीर के भीतर ही ऐसा निष्क्रिय विषाणु बनाया जा सके ऐसी सूचनाओं वाला mRNA होता है। भारत की एक कंपनी द्वारा बनायी गई ऐसी वैक्सीन को सरकारी अनुमति मिली। सामान्य रूप से ऐसी वैक्सीन को बोहोत ठंडे तापमान पे रखना होता है किन्तु ये नयी भारतीय वैक्सीन को ऐसी ज़रूरत नहीं है/ वो तापमान के प्रति इतनी संवेदनशील नहीं है कि तुरंत बिगड़ जाए।)
