CAPF Answerkey Economy & Chemistry

A CAPF aspirant can afford to “play” with Aag, Paani & Rajanbhai, because no questions asked from Banking sector

  • Out of 16, only 2 from current affairs- in Physics and Chemistry each.
  • 3/4th of the science questions from Chemistry only- that too requiring grip over trivial GK about various chemicals.
  • Nearly 40% of the MCQs required deep reading of Class 11-12 Science NCERTs.
  • Hardly 2-3 could be solved from class 7-10 NCERT and Lucent GK.
  • So gradually for all 3 exams (CDS, CAPF, Civil service), the UPSC examiner shifting from class 7-10 towards Class11-12 Science NCERTs.

27.The radius of a hydrogen atom is 10-10 m. Number of hydrogen atoms to have a length of one nanometer is:

  1. 6.023 * 10^-23
  2. 10
  3. 5
  4. 100

Explanation-

2*10 ^-10 meter is the diameter of one hydrogen atom

So 1 meter is the  diameter of (1/2* 10^-10) hydrogen atoms

So 10^-9 meter will have the diameter  of = (1/ 2*10^-10) *10^-9 = (1/2)10^10*10^-9= 5

So answer is C.

38. Which one of the following statements is correct ?
