- In written + interview the highest scores are:
- PO/MT highest score = 69.20 (SC).
- Clerk Highest score= 82.80
- In case of score-tie, the person with senior age is selected first.
- Reserve list =10% of the total vacancies of each category in each state.
- Reserve list will expire on 31st March 2015.
- If you’re not allotted OR put under reserve list, then you’ll not be considered for any further process under clerk vacancies in 2014-15.
- IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) will not entertain any queries in this regard. (They don’t even fall under RTI / right to information act, just like PROMETRIS that conducts CAT exam.) IBPS’s role is over in this game. Now ball in the participating bank’s court.
- This is provisional allotment, you still have to get through the formalities of verification, appointment letter etc.

Hii, I got selected in Dena bank. Can ny1 tell me tat wat will b th next step regarding joining etc. ?? .
To reserved list candidates: please don’t lose hope, if u r decimals behind the cut off then for sure u will be getting an appointment. With a heavy heart, those not selected in reserve list, please don’t be off thinking whether you would be considered or not. By the time reserved list candidates would be considered the 2014 PO exam would have been finished so IBPS mind would be like ‘why keep on taking from old lot ‘. Please don’t take wrong clue from the clerk CWE third round of allotment as this time the IBPS has conducted centralized interviews and not like previous term where individual banks had conducted interviews. More than that the link just below the link of PO III result in there website provides a PDF that clearly says : Candidates who are not provisionally allotted or not in the reserve list will not be considered for any further process under CWE PO/MT-III for vacancies for 2014-15. So better luck next time and trust me you will get somewhere so don’t lose hope.
Well reserve list candidates would have got a cake walk if SSC had not annulled the whole process of 2013 Tier I exam of some centers. I am too one of the loser in that respect since I have to again give the exam from Dehradun. So seeing that SBI has not advertised till now PO vacancy (last year it had conducted the exam by now) and the fate of SSC exam in limbo, I guess the number of people accepting the offer would be high except some ‘Khatron ke Khiladi’ (sorry for poor humor).
Got BOB with 87 marks in written (GEN). Had given ACIO interview so waiting for that too. SSC is something not in my mind right now.
All the people whether selected in Punjab National Bank( the largest among PSBs recruiting from IBPS exam) OR Punjab & Sind Bank(the smallest among all PSBs recruiting from IBPS exam in terms of yearly profit, at lest from last available data in IBA’s website) should know that of course these banks have to many oldies and because of their retirement fast approaching, there is this bumper POs & Clerks recruitment going on. So just consider how good the opportunities are in terms of promotions.
All banks provide facilities to their employees in accordance to their understanding with IBA so Punjab and Sind bank employee would be getting same salary as that of Punjab National Bank if you don’t mind considering some mild aberration in some emoluments. Long story short please don’t think that to be in one bank would fetch you salary miles ahead of that of other PSBs bank employees. So please be cool in that respect.
But yes a large bank would be having greater number of branches than that of a smaller bank so you might be having posting restrictions or you might not get favorable postings in your state or your locality as such in case of smaller bank .But remember that since RBI is planning to give new bank licenses so the competition will be toughened and every bank is going to set foot in each state more decisively. So don’t get bogged down by bank you are in, there are ample opportunities in all of them.
I am still waiting for ACIO result but me too confused what to join.Father being a retired officer in B.S.F in not too enthusiastic of ACIO as the unsettled life we led due to his para-military job had certain effects over us. Even 2012 selected candidates for ACIO getting call-letter in the fag end of 2013 (as told by some veterans in ACIO comment thread) I am confused whether one should wait or not.But that ‘adventurous me’ wants to see that life. Every job is not made for anyone, so u might hear negative aspects of a job or the problems related to a job only from the one who is stuck in that job not from the one who loves that job. So this confusion will end up some not accepting the offer and reserved list getting there share.
Mrunal thanks to you, before interview I read all you economy articles from bottom to top and yes I can say I did well in the interview if I take that mystic sign of being offered Eclairs as a “Yes, you are in” ;as interpreted by many in various forums. ;) :D (Yaa I was the one who vociferously opposed the theory when it was being aired for the first time but now I think I can defend this theory,somewhat).

I have a question. I had apperead in Clerk III and i have got 63.2% from West Bengal-General. Allotment cut off was 64 (gen) and for reserve list it was 63.4 ..i couldnt make it by 0.2 as you can see for the reserve list. I was wondering whether the attrition rate for joining clerks as many people have cleared both po and clerk so preferably they will join po and only 10 percent is kept as reserve so if vacancies are higher than 10 percent wouldnt we be considered, becuase technically we have passed and our results are valid till march 2015.
I dont know I have said anything wrong here. If you know, please do shed some light on this. It will be very helpful and it goes out to others as well.

Bro can’t say for sure…But one thing is sure ki reserved list ka pitara khulega so aap jitna najdik honge apni category ki cut off se utna h accha h ..so just don’t keep on thinking about it, I would rather ask u to start preparing alongside waiting for reserved list…
Sabhi log join nahi karte yaar..there are many civil services aspirants and that of SSC too to u can only make wild guess ki kitne drop karenge par log drop karenge that is for sure…aur jab tak joining letter aayega tab tak ACIO ka result bhi nikal h jayega to reserved list ka no. aayega
@ Ipsit: as I said earlier ki filhal IBPS is showing red flag to non selected or non-waiting list candidates taki kal k din they don’t sue them like IBPS PO II candidates did…so they have made it crystal clear ki if u r not in reserved list ur game is over..
I hope u must be knowing about the protest of IBPS PO II selected candidates so IBPS is streamlining its selection guidelines..
So as declared clearly,those candidates better not speculate a hypothetical condition of even waiting list getting exhausted…IBPS is surely going to notify IBPS PO I 2014 so they will never have shortage of candidates….
yeah true…actually being so close and not making it creates a tension as you can understand and it gets confused too at times . Anyways. will just look forward wait and watch …. but yeah i dont expect much either in this case. Thanks man !!

In the result report it is said that “You have not been selected for provisional allotment or reserve list and wont be considered for any further proceedings under clerk III”
My question is will this pose any hindrance or we will be given consideration after reserve list is exhausted ?

i too got IDBI fr P.O……. when to expect appointment letter or if not appointment letter so early then any communication from IDBI in any regard..??
As far as know IDBI will take atleast 3-4 months. So relax keep on fighting for SSC and CSE.
By the way I am also selected in IDBI.

I don’t know what happened to the ppl who were giving me the marks in the interview…the interview was at Bhubaneswar in united bank of INDIA and all the questions asked did gave the answer properly and the interviewer also said regarding good confidence, communication skills and attitude..still they gave me 11 out of 20…never ever ever expected this mark….had it been more than 12 atleast I could have got a bank and a job….hopeless guys… killing another year….GOD please do help me out… I don’t know what more they expected from my answers… really a disheartening result…whoh was never expected…. many friends whose interview was over in 5-6mins have been given 15 or 16 marks….. a friend did really bad in interview in CANARA BANK in Bhubaneswar still he got 15 marks …he scored less marks than me but due to high marks in interview as well as OBC quota got through….

I too faced the same situation. I was the last but one candidate for the morning session. The panel asked abt my father’s business, its annual turnover and some unnecessary stuff which is not connected to banking. My interview finished in just 5-6 mins and i got just 9.8/20 . since my written score was good(32) I got selected.

Almost same case with me…I got 41.20 in po…lost provisional list(cut off 42.20) by 1 mark and reserve list(cut off 41.60) by 0.4…Got 80 in written…32 when converted…and just 9.2 marks in interview…Interviewers asked me 10 q’s and I answered 9 correctly…still less marks….Unhappy really!

I compared my interview with those of my batch mates and friends. Mine was on the same line. Many of my friends cleared where as I didn’t even get the minimum qualifying marks for the Interview. Could anyone please help me understand the reason?

No, BMB sources its employees from SBI and associates. No freshers in BMB as of now.
But I heard that BMB has the best branches in cities only and also good salaries…..many women employees in SBI and its associates want to shift to BMB……

Clerical cadre k selections hat skte hai kyuki people will leave , who have got selection in both, but not in case of PO
exactly the opposite will happen. People are more comfortable in clerk rather than in po
It cant be would you refuse a job that pays you 35 k + for a job that pays you only 15k….think again ..it is perhaps only applicable for students who have a long term planning like preparing for civil services or so otherwise people would always choose po over clerk.
