- In written + interview the highest scores are:
- PO/MT highest score = 69.20 (SC).
- Clerk Highest score= 82.80
- In case of score-tie, the person with senior age is selected first.
- Reserve list =10% of the total vacancies of each category in each state.
- Reserve list will expire on 31st March 2015.
- If you’re not allotted OR put under reserve list, then you’ll not be considered for any further process under clerk vacancies in 2014-15.
- IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) will not entertain any queries in this regard. (They don’t even fall under RTI / right to information act, just like PROMETRIS that conducts CAT exam.) IBPS’s role is over in this game. Now ball in the participating bank’s court.
- This is provisional allotment, you still have to get through the formalities of verification, appointment letter etc.

sir i got 83 marks in po written and my interview was good.They asked me about 20-22 questions and it last about 10-12 min. i gave them right answer except 3-4 questions.but they didn’t even gave me passing marks in interview. Is this right ?

Hi vamsi and ashu…..i just went thru syndicate bank site, recruitment page..last yr tey hav given te orders n te month of april..so lets c..and 2 yrs s te probationary period and training usuall differs wit each bank..so nt much sure..usually 3 months to 1 yr..ten will be promoted to Assistant manager..

n overkload is very high..
it is around 28K if you live in your own house. otherwise PO salary is around 35K if you want to pay house-rent. Salary hike will not happen soon, it will take another year….but definitely from 2016 as 7th PC will take effect…..
There is no relation to 7’th pay commission since the bankers salary is negotiated by the union with IBA..Though the PSUs can make their salary at par to the pay commission recommendation… At this point of time bankers are not getting salary in proportion to even 6’th pay commission and the gov. has already notified the next pay commission in spite of the fact that it should have been constituted in 2016(Political compulsions)…
All we can expect is the outcome of the settlement b/w bank employees and IBA gives a good hike in salary…

7th pay comission’s recommendations will apply from 1 jan 2016.
Pay commissions are usually and mostly have been set up every 10 years…and there is no such thing as prior formation for future year recommendation is required as almost always there is retrospective implementation of pay commission’s recomme as in 6’th pay commission…
Without actually taking into effect the inflation from 2016 onwards on what basis is the 7’th pay commission going to recommend the wage increase other than extrapolating the present circumstances…,it is a step taken to woo gov. employees…everybody knows that…
Xth bipartite settlement is gonna decide about next raise, not 7th PC..

go for civils…but it u want financial independence till u go through the cumbersome civils process…do join d job… :)
In my opinion after joing bank eider po or clerk u wl get less time for prep for civil lik ias.after working 10:30 to 6pm u will be mently nd physically tired so if u have no economical prob,go for civil bro,best of luck

go for po,ta is far below in ranking,if u hve future aspiration like some preparation and full faith in urself then go for ta as u wil get some time for study.

bhai if you want to make your career in banking sector then go for po but if you are more concerned about a job that gives you ample time to rest and relax go for ssc because you will be paid for doing nothing.my experience with govt. job is not good and i m moving in the banking sector.make your decision keeping in mind future prospects of the job

1.not much work/ no overtime hours = full to aaram ka job
2.no performance related increments=time promotions
3.can pursue other better exams and start your own business along with job
4.u will get promoted as inspector in about 8-10 yrs if in gen cat without clearing LDCE
5.job security higher than in bank job
Disadv
1.you might feel frustrated with low salary and govt way of functioning if you are an ambitious person
2. pathetic working environment=full of passive people around you who just hate working and love passing their work on to others
adv of bank job
1.much better salary than TA and better promotion channels
2.respectable status white collar job like corporate
3.better allowances eg hra,reduced interest rates,petrol,entertainment etc
4.smarter colleagues better infrastructure and competitive atmosphere of work=you will feel that you do something imp
Disadv of bank po
1.10-12 hr job right from day 1=physically and mentally exhausting
2.might post you anywhere in india = even rural branch as per bank req
3.very difficult to prepare for any competitive exam like upsc or state psc
4.no time for starting a new business venture of your own if u wish
I have known both kinds of ppl
1.an sbi po who left his job for inspector CBEC
2. an CAG auditor who left job for PNB PO
decide where you will be comfortable…decision is completely yours

I started my preparation with an intent to crack civils..bt now I m losing confidenc to crack dt easily. So that is why I m very confused btw the two.

I am an ex HCLite.left the job 6 months ago preparing civils got IBPS also.if u r in prj then u know the notice period is 3 months so u have that much time left for joining otherwise give 3 months basic salary and get the exp cert.i was in bench while resigning , they released me in 5 days!!!!
Sir, I got BoB for PO post. They gave me only 40 marks in interview. I was expecting somewhere in between 50 to 60. As I am general category candidate I am very much thankful to God that they at least gave me passing marks..!!
